I kept hearing the phrase 'Do you hear what I hear?' I knew it was to do with what God is hearing from our mouths.
Later on, I came upon Rod Parsley's daughter, Ashton's video. She was speaking about experiencing a lot of discouragement, rehearsing all of her complaints to Him and He said back "Go to My Word" because I'm hearing what you have to say, but not one time have I heard what I have to say.
2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
Your problems are not working against you like you think in the natural, they're working for you to produce and achieve a far exceeding glory.
Regarding Praise and Worship, Have an attitude of gratitude that the weight of your problem is being replaced by the weight of His far exceeding glory
Gloria Copeland say's "You're not reigning when you're complaining."
We need to be hearing what He has said to us through His Word and declaring that along with giving Him praise and thanksgiving

Joshua 1:10-11
Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11 “Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.’ ”
Jeremiah 32:6-10
And Jeremiah said, “The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 7 ‘Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying, “Buy my field which is in Anathoth, for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.” ’ 8 Then Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the Lord, and said to me, ‘Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord. 9 So I bought the field from Hanamel, the son of my uncle who was in Anathoth, and weighed out to him the money—seventeen shekels of silver. 10 And I signed the deed and sealed it, took witnesses, and weighed the money on the scales.
Micah 2:10

Yes, with utter destruction.
Isaiah 48:17
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,

Micah 2:12-13
“I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob,
I will surely gather the remnant of Israel;
I will put them together like sheep of the fold,
Like a flock in the midst of their pasture;
They shall make a loud noise because of so many people.
13 The one who breaks open will come up before them;
They will break out,
Pass through the gate,
And go out by it;
Their king will pass before them,
With the Lord at their head.”

I heard the phrase 'Looking for a needle in a haystack'
Definition: something or someone that it's almost impossible to find.
The easiest way to find a needle is to use a magnet.
Needle - lost person - spiritually separated from God, living in sin and needs redemption
Haystack - other things/lifestyle/hard heart. If you were naturally in a haystack you would find it very hard to breath
Magnet - Jesus actively and intentionally seeks out individuals.
Luke 19:10 TPT
The Son of Man has come to seek out and to give life to those who are lost.”
Mark 2:17b AMP
"... I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners [who recognize their sin and humbly seek forgiveness].”
John 3:16-17 TPT
For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. “God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it!
1 Timothy 1:15 TPT
I can testify that the Word is true and deserves to be received by all, for Jesus Christ came into the world to bring sinners back to life — even me, the worst sinner of all!
Luke 15:3-7 and Matt 18:11-14 - Parable of the Lost Sheep
No one is ever lost, they just need to be found.
1Cor 6:9-11 TPT These people were in a haystack lifestyle, but then were found and gave their hearts to Jesus.

Excerpts taken from Jewish sites
The prophetic word for the Hebrew year 5786 (beginning at sundown on September 22, 2025, with Rosh Hashanah) is sobering and timely: Tread Lightly With Your Words.
We are in the decade of the mouth (5780–5789), connected to the Hebrew letter Pey (פ). This decade emphasizes the power of words: prayer, prophecy, declaration, and the weight of what comes out of our mouths.
Within that decade, 5786 is called the year of the Hook, tied to the Hebrew letter Vav (ו). Vav means hook or nail. It represents connection… joining heaven and earth, linking people together, like the hook of a fisherman, as in Jesus’ words: “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19).
Together, these truths carry a strong call for this year: Your mouth is your hook. What you speak will either gather people into God’s kingdom or scatter them further away.
The hook is not for arguments or tearing down, but for reaching out. It is for evangelism, for reconciliation, for gathering people when everything else tries to scatter them. Expect both opportunities to win hearts and moments of spiritual battle. The same hook God gives us for harvest will also be used to confront forces that try to divide and destroy.
5786 / 2026 is a year to tread lightly with your words. Choose speech that heals, not divides. Choose to build, not tear down. Walk in intimacy with God, and you will see barren places blossom into new life.
In Hebrew, numbers also function as letters, each with its own meaning. Together, they give more depth to the year 5786:
Yod (10): The hand or arm of God. It speaks of His presence, His work, and completeness.
Kaf (20): The palm. It symbolizes blessing, provision, and receiving what God gives.
Vav (6): A hook or nail. It points to connection. Heaven and earth joined. And also to the hook of evangelism: fishers of men.
The ancient sages observe that the written form of the letter 8/Pey contains a smaller, hidden letter within its structure: the letter Bet (heart).
Bet means “House” or “Home.”
This is a profound prophetic insight: The Mouth (Pey) speaks what is in the House (Bet).
Examine Your Bet (Heart): Clean out the contamination of fear, cynicism, and unforgiveness. Let your private house be holy.
Activate Your Pey (Mouth): From the foundation of the finished work (Vav), speak clarity where there is confusion. Speak life where there is death. Speak abundance where there is lack.
Be the Vav (Connector): Step into your role as the intercessor, binding Heaven to Earth with your spoken word.

Rick Renner: Paul went from being shipwrecked, bitten by a snake, to living in a palace, having new clothes and eating the finest food. From being on an island with barbarians to seeing revival take place, preaching and seeing people get healed. And after three months they departed the island in a ship from Alexandria. The finest port city in the WORLD was in Alexandria. Only the finest ships came out of Alexandria! And for the rest of his life Paul lived on the cash that he got from the pagans on that island. He might have been a little hindered on his way to Rome but he held on to that word from God, 'I must appear before Caesar'. He stood firm in faith, he didn't give up.
Friends, the story's not over until the story is over. Just because the devil has hindered you doesn't mean you quit. There is a ship from Alexandria that is designed to carry you to your destination! -- Rick Renner (Acts 27 & 28)

I heard the phrase 'Settle it' then the Scriptures Ps 119:89. Then I heard, 'Having done all to stand, stand'. (Read Eph 6vs 11-14 AMPC).
Psalms 119:89 AMP
Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable].
Blue Letter Bible
Settled: stand, to take one's stand, established, stationed, take an upright position, to stand firm, set, to cause to stand erect, to fix, to establish.
Stand: to stand, to place, to make firm, fix, establish, to stand immovable, to stand firm, continue safe & sound, stand unharmed, to stand ready and prepared, to be of a steadfast mind, one who does not hesitate or waiver
God's Word is true, fixed and established. We have been given promises through His Word for our families. We are not to be discouraged, doubtful, weary etc. God has said it through His Word then we have to come in agreement with it. 'Settle it'. His Word does not return to Him void.
Our part - believe it, confess, and stand, which means we are not to waiver at the promise but to be fully persuaded/convinced like Abraham was. As we remain standing firm in our faith, those promises that are already settled will come to pass.

Taken from Rick Renner:
God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
— James 4:6
In James 4:6, James addressed believers who were not living according to God’s plan. In some way, they were violating God’s principles, and they were doing it blatantly. So James wrote to them and reminded them of the serious consequences of their behavior, saying, “God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.”
In this verse, we find that the word “resist” is the Greek word antitasso, a military term that depicts the orderly arrangement of troops to successively wage combat against the non-compliant. It is a deliberate, premeditated arrangement of military might to crush an enemy. The whole notion of the word antitasso in the context of James’s message is that if the arrogant will not willfully bow, God will arrange events so that they will bow regardless of whether it is willful or forced. One way or another, the proud will bow. God, however, invites them to humble themselves willingly rather than be humiliated forcibly.
The word “humble” is tapeinos — a word, which in this case, describes a person who was formerly arrogant but has become humble. In other words, this individual previously succumbed to pride, but he came down from that haughty position to become obedient and conform his behavior to fulfill God’s commands. Hence, tapeinos can accurately be translated to make small, to reduce one’s self-importance, or to humble oneself from previous arrogance. According to James, those who do this on purpose — that is, believers who willfully submit to God’s commandments and turn from their arrogant ways — will become recipients of “grace.” In the context of James 4:6, it means that even though they had run afoul in their attitude toward His commandments in the past, they will receive “grace” to avoid the otherwise unavoidable discipline of the Lord if they willingly submit to God, come back under His authority, repent, and adopt an attitude of humility. That is why James exclaimed, “Submit yourselves therefore to God.…”
The word “submit” is hupotasso — a compound of hupo, which means to place one’s self under another, and tasso, which is the same word used above to describe a deliberate arrangement of military forces. Used together in one word, it becomes hupotasso, and it portrays an individual who willfully places himself under (hupo) authority. Rather than go his own way, he places himself back under command (tasso). There is nothing accidental or haphazard about it. He has chosen to come under authority and has willfully arranged himself under his commanding officer.
In these verses, James appeals to those who arrogantly disregard God’s commands and urges them to realign themselves back under God’s authority. James calls on them to fall in line, submit themselves again in obedience to God, and thus escape divine discipline. If erring individuals retain their current course of action, they will be met with divine discipline. But if they respond to Christ’s plea and reposition themselves back under His authority and thus change their behavior, it is possible for them to avoid the divine discipline that Christ is preparing to lovingly carry out in their lives.
The discipline of the Lord is just as real today as ever before. If a child of God deliberately ignores God’s Word and knowingly goes astray, God will graciously give him an opportunity (perhaps many opportunities) to come back home of his own free accord. But if that person is really a child of God and refuses to come into compliance with what He has set forth in His Word, then God — out of great love for that person — will take other measures to bring him or her back home. John 16:33 AMPC and Word Wealth
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
Two CFaith Articles
*The Lord said that even as we walk through the shadow of death, we do not have to be afraid because He was with us. What is the shadow of death? It’s the fearful or negative mental images that Satan continually tries to bombard our minds with, seducing us into states of panic, or anxiety, or cares. The more we think upon them and “see” them in our mind, the worse they get. They become a shadow of death!
God has not abandoned us in these hard places. His will is to comfort us and lead us to green pastures and still waters. Psalm 23:4 says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
When we will quiet our soul (our mind and emotions) and spend time with Him and learn of His promises, the voice of the Holy Spirit will rise up from within and comfort us. His Words will make our soul still and the waters quiet. They will cause fear to go as God’s greatness, power, and promises are magnified within our hearts.
*Every born-again child of God should be enjoying a life full of peace. Jesus said in John 14:27 (AMP):
Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
This is really a powerful Scripture. Please read it several times, and then take at least five minutes to meditate on it and let it soak in.
First, let us notice that the peace Jesus offers is a special peace, not like the world gives. What kind of peace does the world offer? The world offers a certain feeling of peace. This peace operates when everything in your life is going the way you want it to.
However, when things are not going your way, that worldly peace flees in a big hurry. The spirit of “upset” quickly takes over.
The peace Jesus gives operates in good times or bad, when you are abounding or being abased. His peace operates in the middle of the storm.
It would be wonderful, as far as the carnal mind is concerned, if everything went your way all the time. We know by experience that in real life this does not happen.
Jesus said in John 14:27 (AMP), “Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed.” The more I read this Scripture and pondered it, the more I realized the Bible was telling me that I was doing it to myself. I needed to stop it. He also said in that verse, “Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
Jesus rebuked the disciples in Mark 4:40 for a lack of faith because they lost their peace in the storm. Jesus did not lose His peace. He was asleep in the back of the boat. The disciples were in a panic and very much upset.
Would you have been in the back of the boat enjoying peace with Jesus? If you do not have peace from the Holy Spirit, you are not enjoying life.

I heard this - "The Sower sows the seeds - what seeds are we sowing by our speaking over our family?"
Are we speaking life giving words? Do we have a tongue of kindness? (Prov 31:26)
Proverbs 15:4 AMP
A soothing tongue [speaking words that build up and encourage] is a tree of life, But a perversive tongue [speaking words that overwhelm and depress] crushes the spirit.

Ephesians 4:29 NCV
When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger. Then what you say will do good to those who listen to you.

Psalm 37:12-15
The wicked plots against the just,
And gnashes at him with his teeth.
13 The Lord laughs at him,
For He sees that his day is coming.
14 The wicked have drawn the sword
And have bent their bow,
To cast down the poor and needy,
To slay those who are of upright conduct.
15 Their sword shall enter their own heart,
And their bows shall be broken.
Isaiah 54:17 (The Message Paraphrase)

Psalm 64:1-10 (AMPC)
1 Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; guard and preserve my life from the terror of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel and conspiracy of the ungodly, from the scheming of evildoers,
3 Who whet their tongues like a sword, who aim venomous words like arrows,
4 Who shoot from ambush at the blameless man; suddenly do they shoot at him, without self-reproach or fear.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil purpose, they talk of laying snares secretly; they say, Who will discover us?
6 They think out acts of injustice and say, We have accomplished a well-devised thing! For the inward thought of each one [is unsearchable] and his heart is deep.
7 But God will shoot an unexpected arrow at them; and suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 And they will be made to stumble, their own tongues turning against them; all who
gaze upon them will shake their heads and flee away.
9 And all men shall [reverently] fear and be in awe; and they will declare the work of God, for they will wisely consider and acknowledge that it is His doing.
10 The [uncompromisingly] righteous shall be glad in the Lord and shall trust and take refuge in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory and offer praise.

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
2 Corinthians 7:10 AMP
For [godly] sorrow that is in accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow [the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe] produces death.
We have backsliders in our family who want to receive the blessings of God, but have removed themselves from it, due to their worldly, sinful lifestyles and no desire to change.
It is God's goodness towards them that leads them to acknowledge their sinful ways and brings them to godly sorrow and true repentance which leads to them turning their lives around (revived).

Habakkuk 2:2-3 AMPC
And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. [Heb. 10:37, 38.]
Besides vision from the Lord, we need faith to match the vision. Divine vision demands divine power, and divine power is accessed by faith. Without faith, it is not possible to please God (Heb. 11:6). With faith, it is possible.
Passion
Each of us also needs the passion of God ignited in the heart to take the steps of faith necessary to carry out His vision
Discouragement wants to rob you of the vision regarding your family, yourself, your health, finances, your purpose etc.
Proverbs 4:25-27 TPT Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions. Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you. [27] Don’t allow yourself to be sidetracked for even a moment or take the detour that leads to darkness.

Hosea 10:12b
[12] Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
Commentary-break up your unplowed ground.
This metaphorical language urges the people to prepare their hearts for spiritual renewal. Unplowed ground represents hardness and neglect, suggesting areas of life resistant to God's influence. In Jeremiah 4:3, a similar call is made to break up fallow ground, indicating repentance and readiness to receive God's word. This preparation is necessary for genuine transformation and growth in righteousness.
In Luke 15:11-32, we read of a father with 2 sons. The younger one asks for his inheritance, receives it then goes away, squanders it all and up ends up in a pig pen. It is here that he comes to his senses, and breaks up the fallow ground of the heart and returns home with a humble and repentive heart. Throughout the son's wayward ways, his father never stopped praying, watering the seed within the son. That watering soften the hard heart and produced.
The son who was dead, was now alive (revived)

Meaning of “True Humility” – 1st We are humble before God, recognizing His supreme authority and our own dependence on Him. We recognize God’s greatness and our own limitations and imperfections and approach Him with a submissive and reverent attitude. It is not self-depreciation, but about understanding our true place in relation to God. 2nd Humble towards others: is a virtue characterized by a realistic and modest view of oneself, recognizing both strengths and weaknesses without arrogance. It involves acknowledging our limitations, being open to learning from others, and not seeking excessive praise or attention. In essence, true humility is about focusing on others and their needs, rather than constantly centering everything on ourselves.
There are two types of humility and they are related, and they are distinct. God tells us to be humble before Him and then to be humble towards others. Humility before God is a humility before His Word. Each time we open the Word we must humble ourselves to what it is teaching us—we are students being taught by the Holy Spirit. Psalm 25:9 (AMPC) – He leads the humble in what is right, and the humble He teaches. James 4:6 (AMPC) – But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but give grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it).
Pride has no place in our lives, that is the character of Satan. (Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-19)
Humble towards other - Galatians 5:13-15 (AMP) - 13 For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another. 14 For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].” 15 But if you bite and devour one another [in bickering and strife], watch out that you [along with your entire fellowship] are not consumed by one another.
The characteristics of love, are deeply rooted in humility: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (AMP) - 4 Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. 5 It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. 6 It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. 7 Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. 8 Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.
Isaiah 57:15 (AMP) - For thus says the high and lofty One—He Who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, but with him also who is of a thoroughly penitent and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the thoroughly penitent [bruised with sorrow for sin].
As we let the agape love of God rule in our lives, we will find ourselves walking in true humility towards God and man.
Prayer – that we will walk (continue to walk) humbly before God and humbly towards others.
The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Joanne Summers
One of the marks of true revival is a restored sense of “the fear of the Lord”. THE "FEAR OF THE LORD" COMES THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD!
The “fear of the Lord” - in a reverential sense, not abject terror, is the key aspect of the Christian life. It is a calling to revere and recognize the sovereignty and judgment of God. It is a warning to be soberly aware of the divine authority of the Lord, to not mock or trivialize His judgment or wrath upon deliberate sin. This phrase reminds us to be mindful of God in all things, seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
WITHOUT THE "FEAR OF THE LORD":
We will not come to know the love of God that gives us assurance and confidence of our salvation. Proverbs 14:26 (NLT) - Those who fear the Lord are secure. He will be a refuge for their children.
1 John 4:18 (NLT) - Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love.
We will not be motivated to truly "work out our own salvation.” Philippians 2:12 (AMPC) - Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).
We close ourselves to the treasures of God's wisdom and knowledge. Proverbs 9:10 (AMPC) – The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding.
Our lives are likely to be shortened by our refusal to heed God's Word. Proverbs 10:27 (AMPC) - The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord prolongs one’s days, but the years of the wicked shall be made short. (eg. Open doors for attacks from the enemy - through sickness/accidents/disease etc.)
We will flirt with evil and be corrupted by it. Genesis 13:12–13 (NLT) - 12 So Abram settled in the land of Canaan, and Lot moved his tents to a place near Sodom and settled among the cities of the plain. 13 But the people of this area were extremely wicked and constantly sinned against the Lord.
When we fall into sin, we will not be motivated to repent and turn to God! Proverbs 1:25-28 - (ESV) - 25 You ignored my advice and refused to be corrected. 26 So I will laugh at your troubles and make fun of you when what you fear happens. 27 Disasters will strike you like a storm. Problems will pound you like a strong wind. Trouble and misery will weigh you down. 28 “Fools will call for me, but I will not answer. They will look for me, but they will not find me. Romans 3:12-18 (AMPC) - ...18 There is no [reverential] fear of God before their eyes. (read full passage)
Without the "fear of the Lord", we cannot please God (Isaiah 66:1-2). Only the person who "trembles at His Word" has God's promise to receive His tender mercy! (Psalm 103:17-18).
Revelation 14:7 (AMPC) – And he cried with a mighty voice, “Revere God and give Him glory (honour and praise in worship), for the hour of His judgment has arrived. Fall down before Him; pay Him homage and adoration and worship Him Who created heaven and earth, the sea and the springs (fountains) of water.”
Prayer – for us to walk in the “fear of the Lord”.
