The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

I heard the phrase 'Looking for a needle in a haystack'

Definition: something or someone that it's almost impossible to find.

The easiest way to find a needle is to use a magnet.

Needle - lost person - spiritually separated from God, living in sin and needs redemption

Haystack - other things/lifestyle/hard heart. If you were naturally in a haystack you would find it very hard to breath

Magnet - Jesus actively and intentionally seeks out individuals.

Luke 19:10 TPT
The Son of Man has come to seek out and to give life to those who are lost.”

Mark 2:17b AMP
"... I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners [who recognize their sin and humbly seek forgiveness].”

John 3:16-17 TPT
For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. “God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it!

1 Timothy 1:15 TPT
I can testify that the Word is true and deserves to be received by all, for Jesus Christ came into the world to bring sinners back to life — even me, the worst sinner of all!

Luke 15:3-7 and Matt 18:11-14 - Parable of the Lost Sheep

No one is ever lost, they just need to be found.

1Cor 6:9-11 TPT These people were in a haystack lifestyle, but then were found and gave their hearts to Jesus.

With God, all things are possible.
