This past Sunday, Deborah challenged us with a 'daily march' for the prophetic word she had was "There's a victory march in March."

There is a natural march and a spiritual sound of marching. As we read in the folliwing verses we see there was a raid in the valley by the Philistines. David first inquired of the Lord, then he had to hear, then move immediately at the sound of marching, and then victory.

2Sam 5:23-24

1 Chro14:13-17

2 Samuel 5:24-25 NKJV

[24] And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly. For then the Lord will go out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.” [25] And David did so, as the Lord commanded him; and he drove back the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer.

1 Chronicles 14:15-16 GNT

[15] When you hear the sound of marching in the treetops, then attack, because I will be marching ahead of you to defeat the Philistine army.” [16] David did what God had commanded, and so he drove the Philistines back from Gibeon all the way to Gezer.

Philistines represent opposition to God and His people that seek to destroy spiritual truths.

Remember, Goliath who was a Philistine, taunted Israel for 40 days.. 1 Sam 17
