To be 'revived' includes being strengthened, encouraged, energized, rejuvenated. How? By being in the Word/His presence, or by rejoicing.
In both of the 2 passages below, the circumstances did not look good, yet they made a choice.
We have promises regarding ourselves and family. You can either get deflated by the voice of the thought realm, or, you can revive yourself to the truth of His Word.
Don't be deflated, but inflate your spirit man.
1 Samuel 30:6 AMP
[6] Further, David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, for all of them were embittered, each man for his sons and daughters. But David felt strengthened and encouraged in the Lord his God.

Habakkuk 3:17-19 AMP
[17] Though the fig tree does not blossom And there is no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive fails And the fields produce no food, Though the flock is cut off from the fold And there are no cattle in the stalls, [18] Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! [19] The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility].
Psalms 27:13-14 AMP
[13] I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. [14] Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.
