Ephesians 6:13-14a NKJV
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand...
II Corinthians 1:20 NKJV
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
Romans 4:19-21 AMPC
He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah's [deadened] womb. [Gen. 17:17; 18:11.] No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised.
Hold Fast. The Lord Will Move. (Author Unknown)
When a plane is preparing to land in a city, there are times when it cannot land immediately. Air traffic control may instruct the pilot to enter a holding pattern. The plane circles overhead, waiting for the right moment to descend. There may be interference, congestion, weather concerns, or something happening on the runway that prevents the landing.
The delay is not the plane’s fault. It does not mean the destination has changed. It does not mean the pilot has lost direction. It simply means that it is not yet time.
Many of God’s people are walking through a season like that right now.
You have prayed. You have believed. You have obeyed. You know what God has spoken to your heart, yet it feels like you are circling while you wait for the promise to come to pass.
The word of the Lord this morning is simple: hold fast.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep remaining faithful.
Do not let the devil get you off track. Do not allow discouragement, fear, or doubt to convince you that God has forgotten you. What God said He was going to do, He is going to do.
Trust Him.
Have faith in Him.
Lean not on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths.
Sometimes the delay is not denial. Sometimes God is positioning things, removing obstacles, and preparing the way for a greater landing than you imagined. What feels like a holding pattern today may actually be divine protection and perfect timing.
Stay steady.
Stay focused.
Stay faithful.
In due season, you are going to see a major victory. There is a shift taking place. Things that have seemed stalled are about to move. Doors that appeared closed are about to open. Answers you’ve been waiting for are closer than you realize.
The Lord has not changed His mind concerning you.
Hold fast.
The Lord will move.
And when He does, it will be worth every moment of waiting.
