Declaring PEACE over our families.

Hebrew Definition of PeaceShalom: completeness, wholeness, peace, health, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony; the absence of agitation or discord. Shalom comes from the root verb Shalam, meaning to be complete, perfect and full. Thus, shalom is much more than the absence of war and conflict; it is the wholeness that the entire human race seeks.

Greek Definition of PeaceEirene: a state of rest, quietness, and calmness; an absence of strife; tranquility. It generally denotes a perfect well- being. Eirene includes harmonious relationships between God and men, men and men, nations, and families. Jesus as Prince of Peace gives peace to those who call upon Him for personal salvation.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace

‭‭John‬ ‭6:16‭-‬17, 19-20‬ ‭TPT‬‬
After waiting until evening for Jesus to return, the disciples went down to the lake. But as darkness fell, he still hadn’t returned, so the disciples got into a boat and headed across the lake to Capernaum.

The disciples had rowed about halfway across the lake when all of a sudden they caught sight of Jesus walking on top of the waves, coming toward them. The disciples panicked, but Jesus called out to them, “Don’t be afraid. You know who I am.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭4:39‭-‬40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”

  • The Prince of Peace spoke peace to the storm

Quote- "Peace comes not from the absence of trouble, but from the presence of God.”

It is Jesus who walks above the troubles of your life. Every power and every dominion is under his feet. No matter what trials and problems may come our way, we must remember that our Lord walks on water and rebukes the storms.

The same Jesus dwells within us, therefore by faith we can too.
