The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

What a good God we serve!!!!! As we are approaching our Thanksgiving, we have SO MUCH to be thankful to Him for.
There are supernatural releases in thanksgiving; look at the only leper who returned to give thanks – he was made whole. Or Jesus with the 5,000 plus – when He gave thanks, there was a supernatural multiplication. Praise God!!!! That’s just 2 examples. The leper gave thanks because he was healed, he wasn’t expecting anything else from Jesus, but because of his thankful heart of worship, Jesus made him whole. Praise the Lord, that sounds like supernatural increase.
We praise Him this morning not because we want something but because we love Him and are so thankful to Him for everything He has done for us.

He came to Nazareth where he had been reared. As he always did on the Sabbath, he went to the meeting place. When he stood up to read, he was handed the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. Unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written, God’s Spirit is on me; he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor, Sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, To set the burdened and battered free, to announce, “This is God’s year to act!” He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the assistant, and sat down. Every eye in the place was on him, intent. Then he started in, “You’ve just heard Scripture make history. It came true just now in this place.”
Luke 4:16‭-‬21 MSG

And there was handed to Him [the roll of] the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened (unrolled) the book and found the place where it was written, [Isa. 61:1, 2.] The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound]. [Isa. 61:1, 2.] Then He rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing [attentively] at Him. And He began to speak to them: Today this Scripture has been fulfilled while you are present and hearing.
Luke 4:17‭-‬21 AMPC

How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him.
Acts 10:38 AMPC

“Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil, for God had anointed him.
Acts 10:38 TPT

The Name of Jesus still has just as much power and anointing today as it did when He spoke and performed miracles of healing and deliverance 2,000 years ago. That same power is within us and as we stand in our authority and speak the Name of Jesus in faith, we will see the power of God at work towards these ‘releases’ in our families.
