The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Joanne Summers
1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Colossians 4:3 (VOICE) – And while you are at it, add us to your prayers. Pray that God would open doors and windows and minds and eyes and hearts for the word so we can go on telling the mystery of the Anointed, for this is exactly why I am currently imprisoned.
We are praying for men’s hearts to be open to the gospel of Jesus Christ. That the Father would draw them to Himself. Revelations 3:20 (AMPC) – Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.
John 6:44 (AMPC) – No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.
- Oh, we thank You Father. Oh, we thank You. Nothing is impossible for You. You’re a great and mighty God and we honour You this morning. We thank You for Your mercies. We thank You for Your love for mankind. Your heart Lord God is for people to be saved. Oh, Father You have all the answers we need, and we turn our eyes to You. Ha! Ha! Ha! Father we thank You for giving our government Your divine wisdom—answers Lord God that comes from heaven. We thank You Father for showing them the solutions for this virus. Father You have the answers. We ask You Father to show them the way. That they won’t rely on themselves, but they will look to You for all the answers. Oh, yes Lord God, for our Prime Minister and his office; for the federal, provincial and municipal government—answers, wisdom Lord God; for the mayors, city councils, the premiers. Oh, even hidden things—answers to the problems, You’re showing them Father. Thank You. We cover this nation and the nations of the earth under the blood of Jesus. Oh, the blood prevails. Oh, we bind every work of darkness, every covert operation to destroy mankind. Oh, Lord God, that the Church would be ready, yes, a ready Church to receive those who would hunger and desire truth during this time. Oh, that the Church would demonstrate Your love. Oh, yes, ready, ready, ready to receive the people that come. Oh, yes, a Church with God’s heart. We pull down the spirit of fear, we bind you, in the name of Jesus. You will not hold people back; you will not stop the Church. A willing, and a ready Church with the doors open ready to preach the gospel ready to meet spiritual needs and natural needs. Oh, Father prepare Your Church for such a time as this. Oh, it’s time for the Church to be ready. Oh, we call the harvest in. We cover the labourers under the blood of Jesus. They’re armed and ready and they’re going. Oh, a mighty army. Oh, yes, the labourers are marching forth. Oh, we thank You Father. We ask You for an outpouring of Your Spirit on the harvest. Soften hearts—ears to hear. You’re opening up deaf ears. Oh, eyes that were blind are seeing the truth. Oh, it’s as work of the Spirit. Mountains of pride being brought low. Crooked places being made straight. Rough places being made smooth. They’re opening wide, opening wide to receive the Word. The gospel is running swiftly penetrating hearts. The light has come and its dispelling darkness. Oh, Lord, men are asking the right question— “What must we do to be saved?” And the labourers come with the response, “Repent and turn to Christ Jesus.” The labourers have the answers to their questions. These are the day of the turning. Thank You Jesus. The marked ones are coming home. They’re receiving Christ as their Saviour. They’re turning from darkness to light. We thank You Father You’re doing a deep transforming work. And as they come into the Church, the pastors are teaching the gospel—disciplining—truth is being taught. The truth that brings stability in their hearts and in their minds. Truth that will cause them to be rooted and abide.
- We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We say, “Peace be unto Jerusalem.” We pray for wisdom and direction for the government. Oh, strength to the government to stand in these days. Yes, we call forth the great harvest out of Israel. We cover Israel’s borders with the blood of Jesus. Angels on assignment not only in Israel but across the nations of the earth. We thank You Father these are the days of Your glory. Jesus is being lifted high.
