The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Joanne Summers

Malachi 3:2-3 (AMPC) – 2 But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap; 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

Definition of refinement: the process of removing impurities or unwanted elements from a substance; a high defined distinction; the quality or state of being refined.

  • In a refiners fire there is the removal of impurities such as gases, drosses, or liquid slags.
  • Fuller’s soap was an alkali made from plant ashes which was also used to clean and full new cloth – the word “full” is from the Anglo-Saxon fullian, meaning “to whiten.” (to full is to press or scour cloth in a mill. Verb/scour: clean or brighten the surface of (something) by rubbing it hard, typically with an abrasive or detergent. Noun/the state of being scoured, especially by swift-flowing water.)

Refiner’s fire and fuller’s soap – for the Believer there is two types of fire: fire of affliction and the other is the fire of intentional self-denial. The furnace of affliction in the family of God is always for refinement, never for destruction. The Word and the Spirit – will act to ‘clean, bleach, wet and beat’ our spiritual fibers to a consistent and desirable condition.

Hebrews 12:5-10 (TPT) – 5 And have you forgotten His encouraging words spoken to you as His children? He said, “My child, don’t underestimate the value of the discipline and training of the Lord God, or get depressed when He has to correct you. 6 For the Lord’s training of your life is the evidence of His faithful love. And when He draws you to Himself, it proves you are his delightful child.” 7 Fully embrace God’s correction as part of your training, for He is doing what any loving father does for His children. For who has ever heard of a child who never had to be corrected? 8 We all should welcome God’s discipline as the validation of authentic sonship. For if we have never once endured His correction it only proves we are strangers and not sons. 9 And isn’t it true that we respect our earthly fathers even though they corrected and disciplined us? Then we should demonstrate an even greater respect for God, our spiritual Father, as we submit to His life-giving discipline.10 Our parents corrected us for the short time of our childhood as it seemed good to them. But God corrects us throughout our lives for our own good, giving us an invitation to share His holiness…

Refinement is for purification – A call to holiness—this will only come when we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and we are separated from the things of this world (from sin and our fleshly desires): Leviticus 20:26 (NKJV) – And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.

1 Corinthians 9:27 (AMPC) – But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].

James 1:2-4 (TPT) – 2 My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! 3 For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. 4 And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

We are praying for the Body of Christ to submit to the Refiner’s fire – conformity to the image of our Lord Jesus Christ – Romans 8:29-30 (MSG) – 29-30 God knew what He was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love Him along the same lines as the life of His Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity He restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in Him. After God made that decision of what His children should be like, He followed it up by calling people by name. After He called them by name, He set them on a solid basis with Himself. And then, after getting them established, He stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what He had begun.

Also read – surprising response to trouble:

James 1:2–4 (TPT – 2 My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! 3 For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. 4 And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

Romans 5:3-6 (TPT) – 3 But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. 4 And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. 5 And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us! 6 For when the time was right, the Anointed One came and died to demonstrate his love for sinners who were entirely helpless, weak, and powerless to save themselves.)

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Joanne Summers

1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  • Father we declare Your Word—this who we are in Christ – 15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ – 2 Corinthians 2:15-17 (ESV). Father we are the aroma of Christ. We’re the ones that carry the glory of God, that the world may see it and know You through us. We yield our members to You this morning. We ask You Holy Spirit to pray through us the perfect will of God for this day. We acknowledge You as Lord over our lives—Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord. We thank You Holy Spirit, we welcome You into our lives today to lead us and guide us, to strengthen us, to impart Your wisdom and direction. Be honoured in our lives today Father.
  • Oh, these are vital day, vital days. Vital day for the Church, this nation and for the nations of the earth. Vital days—critical days! But we know Father You are the One with wisdom that will dismantle the wisdom of men. Grant unto our spiritual and civil leaders Your wisdom to make godly decisions that are for the good of this nation, the people, and the Church. We bind that spirit of pride—self-seeking, self-righteous. Oh God You would say unto those that lead our nation, those in authority – 10 Listen to Me, all you rebel-kings and all you upstart judges of the earth. Learn your lesson while there’s still time. 11 Serve and worship the awe-inspiring God. Recognize his greatness and bow before Him, trembling with reverence in His presence. 12 Fall face down before Him and kiss the Son before His anger is roused against you. Remember that His wrath can be quickly kindled! But many blessings are waiting for all who turn aside to hide themselves in Him (Psalm 2:10-12 (TPT). Oh, Father that they will heed the warning of Your Word and be quick to obey. Open doors for the labours—they come with Your Words that will penetrate their hearts.
  • Oh, we thank You for Your Word Father—Your Word is a sword. For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, and it pierces more sharply than a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts Hebrews 4:12 (TPT). Oh, we thank You Father God that Your Word is penetrating hearts this morning—it’s running swiftly. Oh no where to hide—there’s no where to hide. Oh Your Word, we’re standing on Your Word this morning it does not come back void—it’s not coming back void, but shall accomplish that which we please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto we send it. There’s no more hiding Lord we declare Your Word over all those blinded by the enemy. Those that thing they can hide from You. We send forth the light of Your Word—penetrating the dark areas of their lives that are holding them bound. Psalm 139:1-7 (TPT) – 1 Lord, You know everything there is to know about them. 2 You perceive every movement of their heart and soul, and You understand their every thought before it even enters their mind. 3–4 You are so intimately aware of them, Lord. You read their heart like an open book and You know all the words they about to speak before they even start a sentence! You know every step they will take before their journey even began. 5 You’ve gone into their future to prepare the way, and in kindness You follow behind them to spare them from the harm of their past….. 7 Where could they go from Your Spirit? Where could they run and hide from Your face? (personalized)
  • Father I thank You that as they come to that place of salvation, that place of life, Lord God they’ll be no turning back. Surrendered lives yielded to Your Spirit and Your Word. They flee the very presence of evil. Ha! Ha! They make Your presence their dwelling place. One thing have I desired of the Lord, and that will I seek after, to dwell in Your presence and to seek after Your face—that is the cry of their heart. Thank You Father for those yet to come. Thank You for the labourers that are diligent, steadfast, bold, and immovable, as they go about their Father’s business.
  • We plead the blood of Jesus over this nation—we say, “Let God arise, and His enemies be scattered!” Let Canada arise in righteousness and the fear of the God.
  • Lord we cover Israel under the blood of Jesus this morning. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Grant unto Her government the wisdom and discernment they need. Ear to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to them. Not the plans of men, but the plans and strategies of heaven. Supernatural intervention—visit Your people. Angelic visitation, supernatural protection and provision. Days of awakening! No longer blinded by the lies of the enemy. An awakening to the One Who is the Truth, the Way, and the Life. Strength to the labourers. Every need met according to Your riches in glory. We thank You Father.

Ephesians 3:14-21(TPT) – 14 So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, 15 the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. 16 And I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favour until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His divine might and explosive power. 17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His love will become the very source and root of your life. 18–19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! 20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. 21 Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!

Ephesians 2:4-10 (AMPC) – 4 But God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favour and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation). 6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favour) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favour) that you are saved delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; 9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself. 10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

We are praying that the Church (would come into a deeper knowledge of the love of God) and those that are yet lost—blinded by the god of this world—to come into a revelation that though they are yet sinners Jesus Christ as already paid the full price for their sins—He died so they could be saved (receive eternal life).

  • Thank You Father. Oh, we thank You Father. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for sending Your Son to die for us, to suffer for us—He counted it joy to do this that we might be saved and brought back into fellowship with You. We thank You Father. Your love is our security, it holds us in place. We thank You for that love, for that stability. That love we cannot be separated from—nothing can separate us from the love of God – Romans 8:31-39 (TPT) – 31 So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? 32 For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give. 33 Who then would dare to accuse those whom God has chosen in love to be his? God himself is the judge who has issued his final verdict over them—“Not guilty!” 34 Who then is left to condemn us? Certainly not Jesus, the Anointed One! For he gave his life for us, and even more than that, he has conquered death and is now risen, exalted, and enthroned by God at his right hand. So how could he possibly condemn us since he is continually praying for our triumph? 35 Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats? No, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love, 36 even though it is written: All day long we face death threats for your sake, God. We are considered to be nothing more than sheep to be slaughtered! 37 Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! 38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!
  • We glorify the name of Jesus. Father we pray that those that are yet to come will realize the magnitude of this love. Father I thank You that eyes are being opened this morning. Those that are blind to the truth of Your matchless love, Your unchanging love. Revelation comes of this truth. The Church is realizing the greatness of this love and they’re walking in the fullness of it. The lost are seeing the light of the revelation of Your love for them that while they where yet sinners Jesus died for them, You suffered for then. You gave them life, abundant life, salvation, eternal life in Christ. We thank You Father. We thank You Lord for counting it joy that we might be brought back into fellowship with the Father.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

We came against the strongholds in the minds of our families/selves.

For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
2 Corinthians 10:4‭-‬5 AMPC

Sparkling Gems 1 by Rick Renner
Fortresses in Your Brain
December 1, 2016

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.) — 2 Corinthians 10:4

Once while I was ministering in southern England, I had a few free hours between services, so I asked the local church leaders to take me to see a famous old castle that was nearly one thousand years old. As I approached the castle, its tall, thick stone walls loomed upward overhead. After climbing to the top of the ancient tower, I stopped to enjoy a view of the entire valley below that was simply beautiful.

This particular castle was famous for its history because its lofty position on top of the small mountain had made it impenetrable for hundreds of years. Although many aggressors had attempted to attack and overtake it, its high position on top of the mountain, coupled with its tall, thick walls, had kept those who resided inside secure from outward attack. Over the years, enemies who tried to attack and conquer the fortress had been perpetually frustrated as a result of these advantages that prohibited such a victory.

As I stood in the top tower of that ancient fortress, looking down at the valley below and hearing the stories of all the foreign armies who had unsuccessfully tried to take this stronghold captive, I thought of Paul’s words in Second Corinthians 10:4. He wrote, “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.)”

What are the “strongholds” Paul is talking about in this verse? Whatever they are, Paul lets us know that they are so reinforced and resistant that they can only be eradicated by the power of God and the weapons supplied by the Holy Spirit.

The word “stronghold” comes from the Greek word ochuroma. It is one of the oldest words in the New Testament, originally used to describe a fortress, such as the one described above. It depicted a fortress, a castle, or a citadel. Ancient fortresses had exceptionally thick, very high, impregnable walls that were designed to keep outsiders from scaling the walls or from breaking inside. Such walls were intended to keep intruders outside.

But by the time of the New Testament, the word ouhuroma also came to be the very same Greek word used to describe a prison. Since the most secure, highly guarded prisons were usually constructed deep inside such fortresses, it makes sense that the word for a fortress or stronghold is the same identical Greek word used to picture a prison. Whereas a fortress keeps outsiders from getting in, a prison keeps insiders from getting out. Prisons are places of detention or holding tanks. They also have fortified walls, as well as bars of steel, that are designed to hold a prisoner in captivity.

The “strongholds” Paul refers to are lies that the devil has ingrained so deeply in your mind and in your belief system that they now exert power over certain areas of your life. Just as ancient rulers liked to build their castles perched high on a mountainside, the devil attempts to build strong lies in your mind so he can rule you from a lofty position in your thoughts and emotions. Although you may know logically that the lies the enemy speaks to your mind are untrue, these lies still wage war in your soul, attempting to sabotage your sense of self-worth and your self-image.

You see, when a person has a stronghold in his mind or emotions, he has thick, invisible walls around him that act like both a fortress and a prison in his life. Like the walls of a fortress, these lies insulate him from people who may try to break in to help him see the truth. Although others may want to help this person, they often find it impossible to break through the invisible barriers that surround his mind and emotions.

As a result, the person under mental and emotional assault is held captive like a prisoner to those lies. He sits behind mental and emotional bars, viewing life through the illusion of bondage that Satan has put into his mind. He looks at others, sadly wishing he could be free like them, not realizing that he has already been set free by the blood of Jesus Christ. The lies that operate in his soul keep him bound in an inner “prison” that he can’t seem to break out of by himself.
So when you read Paul’s words about “strongholds” in Second Corinthians 10:4, you need to picture both a fortress and a prison in your mind and then apply this picture to your own life. Are there any areas of your mind that are currently controlled by the enemy’s lies of fear, doubt, and worry? Do you find yourself being repeatedly attacked in the areas of your self-worth and self-image? Are these attacks debilitating and crippling? Do you feel like a hostage to these areas of your mind and emotions? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you have probably allowed the devil to build strongholds in your mind and emotions that are hindering you from stepping out to do something God has purposed for you to do in your life.

If that’s your situation, first recognize and repent for permitting those strongholds to develop in the first place. Then go back and see how the devil gained this foothold in your life. After you discover how the devil was able to work so deeply in your mind and emotions, ask the Lord to forgive you and to cleanse you from this devilish operation in your soul.

Once you have received this divine cleansing, it is time for you to arise in the power of the Spirit with the weapons of God and the name of Jesus Christ. Reject the devil’s claim on your mind and emotions, and command him to leave in Jesus’ name! Then get back on the path to right believing and right thinking by renewing your mind daily with the Word of God. If you truly want to be permanently set free from the lies that have controlled you for so long, you will have to use the weapons of the Spirit to pull down every stronghold the devil has erected in your life!

My Prayer for Today
Lord, I realize that the enemy has been attempting to control my self-worth and my self-image through lies that have been operating in my mind and emotions for a very long time. Because I allowed the devil access to my thought life in times past, I have been like a hostage held captive in an inner prison. I can see now how others have tried to help me, but they haven’t been able to break through the strong walls of these mental lies that have surrounded my thinking. So today I am turning to You, Holy Spirit. I ask You for help as I learn to utilize the weapons of my warfare that You have supplied. Please help me uproot, tear down, and permanently walk free of every mental lie of the enemy for the rest of my life!
I pray this in Jesus’ name!

My Confession for Today
I confess that I will no longer permit the devil to have a foothold in my mind and emotions. I am employing the use of the power of God, the weapons of the Holy Spirit, and the name of Jesus Christ, and I command the devil to withdraw his lies from my mind and emotions and to flee from me! The enemy has no right to operate inside my mind, and I refuse to allow his operation in my soul to continue. I will believe right, think right, and renew my mind daily with the Word of God. I am now permanently set free from lies that have controlled me for such a long time. From this moment forward, I am dominated by the truth of God’s Word. Lies that have held me captive for so long have no more power over me!
I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Terry Nyenhuis

Corporate Prayer
By Lynne Hammond

Imagine for a moment what your house key looks like. It has all kinds of notches on it, right? Dips, high places, low places. All of them are placed in a unique order to unlock your door. The key to your neighbor’s house looks different because it has a different series of notches in it.

Corporate prayer is kind of like a key. No one person is the key to corporate prayer. Corporate prayer is a unique blending of multiple anointings that unlock a unique door.

You have the anointing and power of the Spirit living on the inside of you. When you come together with other believers, your anointing mixes in a unique way with each one of their anointings to make a fuller measure of the Spirit.

Let me show you what I mean by fuller measure. Say we had a huge grand piano that needed to be moved. I could move that piano by myself if I inched it along a little at a time using all my strength, exerting everything I had. Or I could get 15 guys endowed with a lot of strength and I could ask them to move the piano. Working together, they could accomplish the
task with ease.

That’s exactly the way it is with the corporate anointing. Mighty works can be accomplished when the anointing is multiplied by a group of people. Each person’s anointing mixes with the other anointings available, which brings a greater supply of the Spirit.

That doesn’t mean there is no place for praying individually. You do certain things on your own like reading your Bible, worshipping, and personal prayer times. But God will call groups of people to do certain things together that they cannot, get done on their own. That’s when the corporate anointing is put into action.

Second Chronicles chapter 20 shows us an example of the corporate anointing at work. King Jehoshaphat was ruling at this time. He’d had peace in Israel until this point, but in verses 1–2, we read:

After this, the Moabites, the Ammonites, and with them the Meunites came against Jehoshaphat to battle. It was told Jehoshaphat, A great multitude has come against you from beyond the [Dead] Sea, from Edom; and behold they are in Hazazontamar, which is En-gedi. (Amp.)

When I used to read this scripture, I would get upset with Jehoshaphat. I thought, Why didn’t Jehoshaphat go after Israel’s enemies before this? He could have defeated them one at a time. But now they’re attacking Israel together, all three at one time. Why did he wait until they all came at once? I would almost get mad at him when I thought about it. But then I noticed something in verse 10:

And now behold, the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom You would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, and whom they turned from and did not destroy…. (Amp.)

It’s very interesting that the Lord would not let him deal with their enemies when they were small in number. That tells me there are times when God will use an army or group of people to deal with a hoard of demons all at one time. That’s exactly what’s happened here.

When Jehoshaphat found out that they had surrounded him and were going to come up against him, look what he did:

Then Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself [determinedly, as his vital need] to seek the Lord; he proclaimed a fast in all Judah. And Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord… (verses 3–4 Amp.)

They do not know how that help will come or what it will look like that God was going to send. So they began to seek Him about what to do.

God answered them through a man by the name of Jahaziel. While they were assembled together praying, Jahaziel began to prophesy and tell them what to do. They received direction from the Lord through the supply of one man.

I wonder if God would have spoken to Jehoshaphat alone concerning direction for the group if instead of calling a fast he had gone into the Lord by himself. I don’t know. But we can see in this corporate place, they got direction. That is very interesting.

Here is the direction he received:

Tomorrow go down to them. Behold, they will come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the ravine before the Wilderness of Jeruel. You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still, and see the deliverance of the Lord [Who is] with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you. (verses 16–17 Amp.)

The Lord told them from the beginning that they would not fight in the battle. But then He said something interesting: “Take your position.” In other words, this won’t be a natural battle, but a spiritual one. Don’t take a natural battle position, but a spiritual one.

Jehoshaphat then bowed before the Lord; verse 20 continues the story:

And they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper. (Amp.)

Notice verse 21:

When he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to sing to the Lord and praise Him in their holy [priestly] garments as they went out before the army, saying, Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! (Amp.)

I believe it wasn’t just the worship or their singing that released spiritual victory. I believe it was their supply of the Spirit of God. It was the presence of God that was upon them collectively. What they carried began to release heavenly divine faculties that caused the Lord to send ambushments. We don’t know what these ambushments were. We don’t know if angels came or a presence came over that whole battlefield that brought confusion to the camp and made them turn on each other. We don’t know what it was or what it looked like; we just know the Lord set ambushments against these men of Ammon, Moab, and Mt. Seir.

After the battle was over, verse 29 tells us the fear of God came upon all the surrounding kingdoms when they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel.

But it wasn’t just Him. It was His people and the power and presence of God they carried with them when they went out to meet the enemy is what caused the victory to come. And they took a great spoil.

Let’s look at another story. In 1 Samuel chapter 10, God is getting ready to put a king into office. In the natural, Saul was not king material; he was shy, timid, and really incapable of being king. But in 1 Samuel 10:1, Samuel took the oil and anointed Saul to be king anyway.

I would have thought that would be enough. If you’re anointed to be king, then you’re anointed to be king. But it wasn’t. And Samuel knew that Saul still had not come to the fullness of that position so he could operate as king like he needed to. So Samuel told him what to do. The last thing he instructed is in verses 5–6:

After that you will come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is; and when you come to the city, you will meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying. Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you mightily, and you will show yourself to be a prophet with them; and you will be turned into another man. (Amp.)

Before he could be king, Saul needed to be turned into another man before he could operate in the office of king. How was he going to be changed into another man? He was going to get an impartation from other people that would help set him in his place.

When these signs meet you, do whatever you find to be done, for God is with you. … And when [Saul] had turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart, and all these signs came to pass that day. When they came to the hill [Gibeah], behold, a band of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he spoke under divine inspiration among them. And when all who knew Saul before saw that he spoke by inspiration among the [schooled] prophets, the people said one to another, What has come over [him, who is nobody but] the son of Kish? (verses 7, 9–11 Amp.)

They knew he was changed. They knew he was a new man. And that’s what Saul needed to stand in the office of king.

We see something very important here. Iron sharpens iron. Supernatural relationships inspire one another. The association Saul had with those prophets, the supernatural giftings on others helped him to step over into his supernatural office.

You see, if Saul was ever going to get into his office, he needed to be among those in their offices. The supernatural in others activated the supernatural in him.

God puts us where He wants us and He sets members all around us to supply us with something we cannot get by ourselves. Then everybody increases all together.

I’ve seen this in action. A friend of mine, Patsy Cameneti, told me that when she was a teenager in her dad’s church, they would have a man come to their ministry by the name of David Grant. He had an anointing on him that would call forth calls of God. When he came, the whole youth group would turn out and pray all night for the call of God on their lives. She said it was the most incredible thing she had ever seen.

See, the anointing and supply that was on that man produced something in those teenagers that caused them to pray concerning the calls on their lives. It inspired them to get over into their calls.

By the grace of God, each of us has an anointing. If you take my anointing and your anointing and you put those two anointings together, what you have is a whole new anointing that has never existed before.

This is the power of what we call corporate prayer.

Years ago, something interesting happened in one of our prayer groups that demonstrates this unique connection provided by the corporate anointing. There was a certain woman who came whenever she could to one of the groups I was participating in; she couldn’t come every time because of her job.

Her husband was a doctor. Every time she came, we would begin to pray about medical research. But when she wasn’t in the group, the anointing to pray for medical research would not come. She carried a unique supply that couldn’t be accessed when she wasn’t there. We would try to pray about the same type of thing when she wasn’t there, but we couldn’t get an anointing on it.

During our prayer times with her, the Lord spoke to us all about the laser and how it would replace so many surgeries. This was way before any of this became a reality. You never heard about anything like that. And we would never tell anyone about it because they would think we were absolutely nuts.

But it was very interesting to us that the only time we could get over praying about that was when she was there. Something about the anointing on her released us into that doorway where we could get over into that dimension and we could pray about that.

When we talk about this corporate setting, I need to point out that we’re not talking about a gathering; we’re talking about an assembly. A gathering is very different than an assembly. If you think about a puzzle that has lots of pieces, if you didn’t have the picture on the box showing you what it was supposed to look like, you’d just have a “gathering” of all those pieces in the box. You wouldn’t know what the picture was supposed to look like. But when you have the assembly of that picture on the top of the box, it’s very easy to start putting the pieces together.

So it is with the church and so it is in an assembly.

We gather for concerts. We gather for speeches. We gather for the movies. But it’s totally different than assembling together for church. Remember what Jesus said: Don’t forsake the assembling of yourselves together (Hebrews 10:25). When you go to church, you get something when you are with those people of God.

Years ago, there was a lady I had counseled for a long time. There was a woman who had done something ugly to her. And every time she would see that person, all of that unforgiveness would come up even though she had forgiven her. She had forgiven her by faith, but she couldn’t forget it. One day, the ability to forgive and forget what that person did to her finally came. This is what she told me: “One night when I came to church, there was a whole group of believers, people that I knew all around me. An anointing from those people around me came into me and that anointing from those people delivered me!”

Would she have gotten that if she was just sitting at home all alone? No. It came from the corporate anointing available when being assembled together with other believers.

Now I could go on and on with stories from the Old and New Testament that show the power of the corporate anointing, but I think you get the idea. From corporate prayer comes a corporate cause. A corporate cause produces a corporate cry. The corporate cry produces corporate signs and wonders, which ultimately produces corporate victory.

That’s what corporate prayer is all about.”

John 9:4
I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.

There is a deadline to complete His work…it’s almost up.
There’s an urgency.
There’s a highway that must be built.
Time is short.
There’s still much work to be done.

We are praying for Eagles Nest and the whole Body of Christ to get the revelation of the power of the corporate anointing to move things along.

1 Corinthians 14:33 (AMPC) – For He [Who is the source of their prophesying] is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order. As [is the practice] in all the churches of the saints (God’s people).

Psalm 71:1 (AMPC) – In You, O Lord, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be put to shame or confusion!

Webster Dictionary 1828 – definition of CONFUSION: disorder; irregularity (a breach of rules, customs, etiquette, morality etc.); tumult (confusion or disorder); A blending or confounding; indistinct combination; opposed to distinctness or perspicuity (is a penetrating discernment—a clarity of vision or intellect which provides a deep understanding and insight); as a confusion of ideas; abashment (humiliation or disgrace); shame; astonishment (overpowering wonder or surprise); agitation; perturbation (anxiety; mental uneasiness); distraction of mind; overthrow; defeat; ruin; a shameful blending of natures, a shocking crime.

By Lana Vawser – Beware of Falsehoods and Confusion
Lana Vawser Ministries

A few days ago as I was waking in the morning I heard the word “FALSEHOOD” very clearly. When I got up I looked up the definition of FALSEHOOD and it said: FALSEHOOD: The state of being untrue, a lie, lying (Google). Over the course of the day I was seeking the Lord about what He was saying, and suddenly I saw the word FALSEHOOD in a vision, but I saw the hand of the Lord take the word and separate it, so it became: FALSE HOOD. The Lord then showed me the enemy attempting to put these “FALSE HOODS” over people. Like a sweater with a hood, like a cloak with a hood, I saw the enemy attempting to put these “hoods” on many in the body of Christ. It covered their mind and it covered their eyes. In this season of increased clarity and insight, the enemy is attempting to blind God’s people with lies and deception. The thing that struck me was many of these FALSEHOODS that many had been FREE of and now suddenly these FALSE HOODS are coming back, these lies and accusations are attempting to find a place again. The Lord showed me many were crying out “I’ve dealt with this, I thought I got past this, NOT AGAIN!!!” THE ENEMY IS ATTEMPTING TO BRING CONFUSION, WHERE GOD IS RELEASING GREATER INSIGHT FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2017 AND REVELATION AND DIRECTION FOR 2018. The reason the enemy is attempting to put these FALSE HOODS over your mind and eyes again, because we are transitioning and the Lord is releasing greater insight for the remainder of this year, but also for 2018. The enemy is attempting to bring these FALSE HOODS over God’s people again to create CONFUSION, but the Lord is making His way and His vision VERY clear. Where the enemy is attempting to bring such CONFUSION, God is releasing CONFIRMATION after CONFIRMATION of His new directions for the remainder of this year and into 2018. I saw a spirit of CONFUSION specifically coming against REVELATION for 2018. Many starting to receive downloads from the Lord regarding 2018 and then suddenly a spirit of confusion coming and sending them spinning, leaving them questioning “Was that God I heard?” – where the revelation of God has come and is coming regarding 2018 – the confusion is hitting but know CONFIRMATION of the Lord is coming in RADICAL ways! THE LORD IS RELEASING VISION OF WHAT IS ON THE HORIZON AND YOU WILL CARRY MORE THAN YOU EVER HAVE AND WITH GREAT EASE. The Lord is releasing supernatural vision of what is on the horizon to His people that are leaning in to see. There is an increase of clarity and vision right now and I see Him “making paths straight”. Where the enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy, where the enemy has put up roadblocks, the spirit of confusion has come against His people strongly, where the enemy has attempted to hinder breakthrough and direction, the Lord is making paths straight with the release of the increase of vision and clarity, and you will see that you are going to carry more than you ever have and with greater ease and empowerment of His Spirit than you have ever known. Where the enemy has tried to ground you, you are going to catch the wind of His Spirit and move in a greater level of empowerment of the Spirit of God than you have ever experienced before. Rivers of grace you have never experienced, to carry more. MANY ARE IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION. The Lord spoke to me recently and told me that many are in the VALLEY OF DECISION and I saw many were looking at things and seeking the Lord about things and His direction. This confusion had come against many, and I saw many looking at options and hearts desires and looking at “which ones to lay down”. I saw Jesus walk up to them in this vision and He was holding a huge puzzle board and it was bigger than they expected. He smiled and said “It’s so much bigger than you realize” and He began to take all these different options that were before them and hearts desires, all that He had been confirming, and He began to fit them in different ways on this board. Where many of God’s people thought “it had to be one or the other”, the Lord was showing them it was “both”. On the top of the puzzle board I saw in gold engraving it said “INCREASE”. I felt the Lord’s heart so strongly to encourage those of you who are in the valley of decision where there are so many options before you, so many hearts desires and you are attempting to make a decision on which way to go, what to put your hands to, asking the question “how will it all fit? what has to go?” I want to encourage you, keep seeking the Lord, because the plan He has for you is BIGGER than you expect and just where you don’t know how it’s all going to work ‘together’, hand it to Jesus, dive in and trust Him and allow Him to fit all the pieces together. Many heart’s desires He has given you are about to flourish all at once, don’t worry about how you are going to carry it or how it will fit. Hand it to Him, He has it all worked out, and in the beautiful divine puzzle of your life and next season He is putting together, there will be greater ease and joy as you see Him put the next pieces of the divine puzzle together. Psalm 40:5 (TPT) – “O Lord, our God, no one can compare with You. Such wonderful works and miracles are all found with you! And you think of us all the time with your countless expressions of love – far exceeding our expectations!” Psalm 40:5 (NIV) “Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you, were I to speak and tell of your deeds; they would be too many to declare.”

1. Spend some time in the presence of God and ask the Holy Spirit to expose any area of confusion or compromise in your life. Psalm 139:23-24 (TPT)
2. Find that Bible, dust it off, open it up, read it, think about what it says, and then make up your mind to do whatever it says. Psalm 119:105 (TPT)
3. Evaluate who you have been hanging around with. Someone once wrote that we are the sum total of the five people we hang around the most. 1 Corinthians 15:33 (TPT)

Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMPC) – 5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Praying for the Church – It’s time for believers everywhere to recognize any confusion or falsehood in their lives and act quickly, to wake up and shake it off before the enemy builds in them a stronghold of unscriptural thinking and ungodly living. We’re also praying for the removal of darkness that comes from confusion that is causing those that are lost from receiving the truth of God’s Word and turning to Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3 (AMPC) – But [now] I am fearful, lest that even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, so your minds may be corrupted and seduced from wholehearted and sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

  • Father we thank You, You’ve not given us a spirit of confusion, but our minds are sound. We have the mind of Christ. We have the Spirit of God within us. And Father, this morning, we bind that spirit of confusion—that spirit of falsehood, in the name of Jesus. We pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to us the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through our deepening intimacy with Him. 18 We pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of our imagination, flooding us with light, until we experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling…Ephesians 1:17-18 (TPT).
  • Father let the entrance and unfolding of Your Words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple (Psalm 119:130 (AMPC). Even the simple are grasping truth this morning. No confusion in the Church, but the Word brings the light that dispels confusion. The Word of God is the truth of God and the Church lives by the Word of God. No, we will not figure it out on our own. We will seek the counsel of the Holy Spirit and then we will act. Ears to hear, oh we have ears t hear what the Spirit of God is saying to us. Oh, as the Church we say to other in the world—this is the way to walk, the way of life, the way of peace, the way of truth. We are not of the world. We are not of the world. We are ambassadors of Christ and we’re from another kingdom. We live under the kingdom of God rules. We render to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.
  • Oh, we ask for peace and clarity for our government Lord God. No confusion, no confusion, they now the way to walk and lead the nation. The wisdom of God dismantling the wisdom of men. They hear and they see the plans of God for this nation and they follow it. We bind that spirit of fear, in the name of Jesus. We bind that spirit of pride. We say Lord God that the harvest field (men and women, boys and girls) are not confused. The Light has come, and they see clearly—they hear and do, Lord God. Oh, labourers come with the Word in season and it brings the clarity they need this morning. They have a word on the matter, and they bring clarity this morning. We cover the harvest under the blood of Jesus. We cover the nation under the blood of Jesus. The blood is speaking on our behalf and it speaks truth that makes us free. I declare, “Freedom, in the name of Jesus.” Freedom from agitation, freedom from shame, freedom from disturbed minds. Clarity, in the name of Jesus.
  • Father I thank You pastors are seeking Your counsel and Your will for this hour. And when they speak, it’s a word from heaven—not from man—a download from the Word of God. They speak to their congregation as they are led of the Spirit of God.
  • Father we ask You to have Your way in the Church. Your way in the harvest field. Your way in our nation and in the nations of the earth. Let Your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. And we ask these things in Jesus name.

1 Tim 2:1-4

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Oh hallelujah! Father You’re the same yesterday, today, and forever! And like Miriam sang with the women of Israel when their enemies were defeated, so shall we sing.

Exodus 15:1-21 (NKJV) – 1 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! 2 The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him. 3 The LORD is a man of war; the LORD is His name. 4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea. 5 The depths have covered them; they sank to the bottom like a stone. 6 “Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces. 7 And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; it consumed them like stubble. 8 And with the blast of Your nostrils the waters were gathered together; the floods stood upright like a heap; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea. 9 The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’ 10 You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters. 11 “Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? 12 You stretched out Your right hand; the earth swallowed them. 13 You in Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength to Your holy habitation. 14 “The people will hear and be afraid; sorrow will take hold of the inhabitants of Philistia. 15 Then the chiefs of Edom will be dismayed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling will take hold of them; all the inhabitants of Canaan will melt away. 16 Fear and dread will fall on them; by the greatness of Your arm they will be as still as a stone, till Your people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over whom You have purchased. 17 You will bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which You have made for Your own dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established. 18 “The LORD shall reign forever and ever.” 19 For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. 20 Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. 21 And Miriam answered them: “Sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”

  • Oh, we thank You Father. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! We are the people who laugh, ha! ha! ha! We laugh because our God sits in the heavens and He laughs! We are the triumphant ones! We are the over-comers! We are the victorious ones! And we are crossing over with a shout of victory! Ha! Ha! Ha! Yes, we declare, we declare, we declare, “Our God reigns supreme!” Ha! Ha! We thank You Lord! Thank You Lord every situation, every circumstance, ever mountain bows to the name of Jesus for He has triumphed gloriously! Oh, we thank You Father. Ha! Ha! Ho! Ho! Glorious deliverances! Glorious salvations! Glorious restorations! Glorious healings! Oh yes, to the glory of God! Over the top! Over the top! Oh, is shall be a time of over the top—yes Lord! Times, times, times, and seasons! Oh yes, times and seasons of the glory of God being seen as the water cover the earth! Move Holy Spirit! Move Holy Spirit! Move across the land! Move across the nations! Ha! Ha! The rain, the rain, the rain is falling! Nothing left untouched! Oh, the out-flowing of the mercies of God on the lost. Multitudes, multitudes, multitudes coming into the kingdom of God! Oh, as the labourers speak the Word, signs, wonders, and miracles are following the Word of God. And the world shall see, and they shall know they have been with Jesus. We thank You Lord! Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord! Ha! Ha! Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven! Oh, we are a people with sensitive ears—sensitive ears to the voice of Your Spirit. We follow the instructions that we are given. Shoo, shoo, be gone! Be gone! Be gone, in the name of Jesus. Oh, every obstacle be gone! Every mountain be gone! Every plot of the enemy against the people of God, be gone! Oh, the blood of Jesus! The blood of Jesus! The blood of Jesus! Ha! Ha! The blood, the blood, the blood, the blood speaks for this nation and its people! The blood speaks over the harvest! Glory days! These shall be glory days—the name of Jesus Christ glorified! Oh, we thank You Lord.
  • We thank You. Your hand is upon our government. We thank You Father. We declare that, “We shall have a government that revers and honours the Lord God.” They fear the Lord. They have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying unto them and they follow the instructions they are given.
  • Oh ,we are blessed even though we haven’t seen it yet, we believe it. Let it be done to us Lord God according to Your word. Yes! Yes! Pastor Ric and Deborah hear—they hear, they hear, they’re hearing! Ordered steps! Ordered steps! They shall not be ashamed because they put their trust in You. Glorious days for Eagles Nest as we stay the course and heed the voice of the Lord—these shall be glorious days. Jesus Christ be glorified in our midst! Thank You Father.

The song of the Lamb – Revelations 15:3-4 (NKJV) – 3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the son of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvellous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!  Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!  4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy.  For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested.”

Prayer Summary for August 19, 2020

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

We prayed for peace in our families. As Believers we have His peace within is and we need to draw from it, by trusting in Him, renewing our minds, and meditating on His Word. Family members who are backslidden or un-saved cannot experience true peace unless the Prince of Peace resides in them-salvation.

Word Wealths for peace –

Nah 1:15 peace, shalom (shah-loam); Strong’s #7965: Completeness, wholeness, peace, health, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony; the absence of agitation or discord. Shalom comes from the root verb shalam, meaning “to be complete, perfect, and full.” Thus shalom is much more than the absence of war and conflict; it is the wholeness that the entire human race seeks. The word shalom occurs about 250 times in the OT (see Ps. 4:8; Is. 48:18; Jer. 29:11). In Ps. 35:27, God takes delight in the shalom (the wholeness, the total well-being) of His servant. In Is. 53:5, the chastisement necessary to bring us shalom was upon the suffering Messiah. The angels understood at His birth that Jesus was to be the great peace-bringer, as they called out, “Glory to God in the highest: and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:14–17; compare Is. 9:7).

Luke 1:79 peace, eirene (eye-ray-nay); Strong’s #1515: Compare “irenic” and “Irene.” A state of rest, quietness, and calmness; an absence of strife; tranquility. It generally denotes a perfect well-being. Eirene includes harmonious relationships between God and men, men and men, nations, and families. Jesus as Prince of Peace gives peace to those who call upon Him for personal salvation.

John 16:33 NKJV
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Is 53:5 NKJV
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

Ps 4:8 NKJV
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Eph 2:14a NKJV
For He Himself is our peace

Luke 1:79 NKJV
To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Ps 119:165 AMPC
Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.

Is 26:3 AMPC
You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

John 14:27 AMPC
Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

Phil 4:6-8 AMPC
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
7 And God’s peace [shall be yours, that [b]tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

Col 3:15 AMPC
And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

2Thess 3:16 AMPC
Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace (the peace of His kingdom) at all times and in all ways [under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes]. The Lord [be] with you all.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Terry Nyenhuis

1 Tim 2:1-6 AMPC
First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,
2 For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
3 For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,
4 Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth.
5 For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6 Who gave Himself as a ransom for all [people, a fact that was] attested to at the right and proper time.

Prophetic Word by Deborah Borozny
September 17,2005

I call this house to pray, pray, to pray, to pray, to pray for this nation. For change is imminent, saith the Lord. I would My desire and My will be done in this land. And I call thee to pray and to pray and to pray. Don’t wait for the time of election. You pray now for the election, saith the Lord. You pray now for the people of this nation that they’ll hear what I’m saying to them, and they’ll vote the way I want them to vote. And the church will hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. I call you to pray. I call you to pray. I call you to pray. Just as change is taking place in you individually. And change is coming to your home. And change is coming in direction for your lives. So, saith the Lord, change is upon this nation. So, I call you to pray the glory, pray the glory of God upon this nation. Pray the glory of God to flow into this nation. Into the cities, into the neighbourhoods, into the politicians’’ homes, into their bed chambers, saith the Lord. For I will speak to them. I will speak to them. I will speak to them, saith the Lord. And if you’ll stand and it you’ll stand and if you’ll stand steadfast, saith the Lord. Don’t be moved by what you hear. Don’t be moved by what you see. Yes, you stand righteously, saith the Lord. Wearing the whole armor of God. And you shall see Me do a work in this nation it has not been told before, saith the Lord. You shall see it. You shall flow with Me. You shall be a part of it, saith he Lord. If you’ll pray, if you’ll pray, if you’ll pray, if you’ll pray. Pray for your nation. I will work a work no man shall stop it, saith the Lord.

I prayed for Canada:

  • Tweaking this and tweaking that
  • fine tuning
  • minor adjustments
  • not always the “great big” that changes something
  • one little loose wire
  • one thing unplugged
  • expert skilled technicians getting into those teeny tiny places
  • using spiritual tools

For Eagles Nest:

  • money transfers
  • “money cometh to us…we’re going to dance that money in”
  • Your ways are so much higher than our ways

I heard the Lord say:
DON’T BE moved by what you see and what you hear. It may look and sound very convincing and there will be seemingly much to “move you” in the days ahead – but DON’T BE.
I’ve got this – so you’ve got this.
Positioning and place is very key. You’ll have to take it – then keep it. Also, there will be a regaining as well, of that which has been lost, stolen or forfeited.

Contending for miracles

Exodus 34:10 “The Lord replied, ‘Listen, I am making a covenant with you in the presence of all your people. I will perform miracles that have never been performed anywhere in all the earth or in any nation. And all the people around you will see the power of the Lord—the awesome power I will display for you.’”

Pastor George Pearons, Blog Post, 2015:

At this year’s KCM Ministers’ Conference, Dr. Mark Barclay concluded his message with an outstanding testimony about his 10-year-old granddaughter who drowned in a pool last year—and then was raised from the dead! The responding paramedic was about to declare her DOA (dead on arrival), when Dr. Barclay’s son-in-law, the little girl’s father, stood over her and screamed:

Suddenly, the little girl’s lifeless body sprang up from off the pool deck—ALIVE! The paramedics transported her to the hospital for observation. When the ambulance arrived at the hospital, Dr. Barclay’s granddaughter walked from the vehicle and into the building without assistance. The doctors asked if she was hurt in any way. She said, “No, I’m just like Jesus. I’ve been raised from the dead!”

PRAISE GOD! When I heard that testimony, my spirit man stood straight up—and then my body followed. What I had just heard lit a fire in me for the miraculous that has increased more and more. At the same moment during the meeting, Gloria Copeland stepped up to the platform and boldly declared:

“When Dr. Barclay was giving that testimony, I thought, That was an out and out miracle! Then I thought, We don’t see enough of those. We get results. People get healed when we pray. But, what about the out and out miracles like that? Then, I got this: Manifestation of miracles. Pray for the manifestation of miracles. We must tell our congregations to pray for the manifestation of miracles. There are not enough miracles in manifestation. We must all take this and go home talking and believing for the manifestation of miracles. Make big of it. Get your congregation involved in the manifestation of miracles.”

  • We must become skillful in this.
  • Rehearsing testimonies of miracles
  • Read ‘Twenty-Six Miracles’ chapter from R. W. Schambach’s book ‘Miracles’

  • Father we thank You for Your Word. We set ourselves in agreement with Your Word. We desire to become skillful in that miracle working power and we set ourselves in agreement for that now. We declare it is time. We believe it is time for the miracle work of God to be put on display. Instant deliverance! Thank You Jesus! Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Father!
Supernatural deliverance in the name of Jesus – supernatural provision! Hallelujah!
  • Oh, Father we believe it, we receive it in the name of Jesus! Glory to God! Glory to God! Thank You Father, the best is yet to come! The best of Your supernatural power is yet to come!
