The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Joanne Summers

1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  • We welcome You Holy Spirit this morning. We thank You Father for this day. This is the day You have made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. These are the days of glory Father—Your Son being glorified in the earth. Ha! Ha!
  • Awaken Your glory in Your people Lord God—awaken us. Revive our hearts. Revive our hearts Lord God. Oh, Church arise and shine for the Light has come and the glory of God is upon us. Come forth! Come forth! Front and centre! Let the Church come forth in Jesus’ name. We are the people of God and we’re not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation. Ho! Ho! Ha! Ha! Salvation for a dying world. Arise labourers and take the Word to the world. It lifts burdens and destroy yokes. The Word convicts. The Word saves. The Word delivers. Ha! Ha! Say, say! The Word and the Spirit working as One—touching the hearts of men and women, boys, and girls. Oh, the harvest is awakening, they’re awaking! Lord God awaken them unto righteousness. Chains being broken off peoples lives this morning in the name of Jesus. Oh, scales of darkness on eyes being removed in the name of Jesus. Oh, the hard cases are coming in—they seen hard, but nothing is impossible for God. A hungering and thirsting, a hungering and thirsting. A seeking and a finding. Damascus Road experiences. Oh yes, transformations—glorious transformations! Ha! Ha! They will be fruit bearing trees, not barren, in the name of Jesus. Oh, they come in from the north, south, east, and west. Ha! Ha! Droves upon droves, upon droves are coming into the kingdom of God. Oh, they delve into the Word. New creation—old things have passed away and behold they are new in Christ. Thank You Father for the rains of Your Spirit falling upon the earth—falling upon our nation. Rain down, rain down, rain down! We ask it Father, rain down Your Spirit. Awakening—make it a worldwide awakening!
  • Ha! Ha! Eagles Nest is awake! She’s awake, she’s awake, she’s awake! She’s preparing Herself for the harvest coming in! Yes, She’s awake! Oh, we will not miss our opportunities. Pastor Ric, Deborah, and the leadership are awake and they’re listening to the voice of the Spirit. We will not miss an opportunity, or a open door. The glory is in us—the Light dispelling darkness, to the glory of our Lord and Saviour.
  • We lift up our government and all those in seats of authority. Awaken them Lord God unto righteousness. Open ears, open eyes and a willingness to yield to the Spirit. Ha! Ha! The fear of the Lord be upon them. We pray “Psalm 23 (AMPC) over our nation and its people. We speak, “Shalom over Canada, shalom.” Father we declare this nation shall stand for righteousness, truth, and justice. We surround our borders with the blood of Jesus. We say, “Angels for our protection are on assignment from sea to sea.” We say, “The Spirit of God is permeating this land.” We declare this morning, “Jesus reigns over Canada, Jesus reigns over our government; Jesus reigns over our schools; Jesus reigns over our families; Jesus reigns over our Churches.” We declare, and say, and decree that, “Jesus Christ reigns.” Oh Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh, we declare, “Psalm 91 (VOICE)” over this nation. We say there’s a shield of protection around this nation. We say, “COVID-19 is cut off at the root in Jesus’ name.” No biological, chemical, natural or man-made disaster shall overtake us. We say, “Father this nation shall cling to You in love.” Father the name of Jess Christ shall be exalted in this land and the people shall come and bow before that great name. Father we thank You that every plan and purpose for Canada is coming to fruition. Our youth are awakening and recognizing Jesus Christ as their Lord. Surrendered lives, holy, and separated unto You. Flames of fire—they go forth as flames of fire, anointed and appointed for these last days. Thank You Lord.

But when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it roams through dry [arid] places in search of rest, but it does not find any. (Matthew 12:43 (AMPC). Unclean spirits – or demons – roam about in dry places, where there is no water. (The New American Standard translates dry places as waterless places.) And the rest they seek is possession – a body to live in, a dwelling place that’s dry, without water of any kind.

The Body of Christ was never to be a dry place to be restricted, tormented and harassed by Satan and his demons. We need the torrential rains of the Spirit to flood our hearts so there are no dry places within us. We need the gates of our heart open—to be flooded with the Holy Spirit and fire till we cannot contain it and it floods outward to affect those around us. Then and only then will we see the radical changes take place in the Church, in people’s lives, in situations and circumstances. Peter was an example of this after he experience the infilling of the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost. He went from being a coward, denying Jesus, afraid of the faces of men to a bold proclaimer of the gospel of Jesus Christ with 3,000 souls being saved in one day.

That is how God is going to fight the devil’s invasion! No demon can hang around when the Holy Ghost’s water is flowing within us. He’ll flee to a dry place!

The Holy Spirit is living water! He falls like rain (both the former and latter rains). He springs up like a well within thirsting believers. And His life is poured out as a flood upon the world – like streams in the desert!

John 7:38-39 (TPT) – 38 Believe in Me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!” 39 Jesus was prophesying about the Holy Spirit that believers were being prepared to receive. But the Holy Spirit had not yet been poured out upon them, because Jesus had not yet been unveiled in his full splendour.

Isaiah 41:17-18 (TPT) – 17 “I, Yahweh, will respond to the cry of the poor and needy when they are thirsty and their tongues are parched with thirst! When they seek a drink of water but there is none, I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them. 18 I will open up refreshing streams on the barren hills and springing fountains in the valleys. I will make the desert a pleasant pool and the dry land springs of water.

Ezekiel 47:9 (AMPC) – And wherever the double river shall go, every living creature which swarms shall live. And there shall be a very great number of fish, because these waters go there that [the waters of the sea] may be healed and made fresh; and everything shall live wherever the river goes.

We are God’s house – our bodies are temples of His Holy Spirit! And the Holy Ghost is a well that continually springs up within us: John 4:14 (AMPC) – But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life.

Ezekiel 37:4-6 (MSG) – 4 He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of GOD!’” 5-6 GOD, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am GOD!”

We are praying for the former and the latter rains to fall on the Church, to saturate the hearts—no more dry places in the lives of God’s people. The river of the Spirit flowing out of us so that the world will be affected. Where the river flows, life comes—things that were dead coming to life. Rain down Holy Spirit, rain down this morning upon Your Church.

  • Father we thank You for Your Spirit.  We thank You for Your Spirit.  Father we pray that Your Church would set themselves aside to be refreshed and refilled with Your Holy Spirit so that there will be no dry places within us.  Father, no places for the enemy to come in because we’ve made no room for him to come in.  We ask for the former and latter rains to fall.  Fill us up Lord God.  Water that washes, water that cleanses, water that satisfies, water that produces and brings forth life into dry places.  The watering must begin in the Church so that the rivers can break forth into the world—rivers of living water.  Ha! Ha!   People of God come and drink of that water.  Oh, rain down, rain down Father God.  Rain down in Your Church, no more dry lives—saturated by the Spirit of God.  Father we come against false doctrine that has permeated the Church—that we don’t need the infilling of the Holy Spirit—that it’s for the old days.  We cut that off at the root in the name of Jesus.  Father we pray for pastors that have veered off course in teaching about the Holy Spirit.  Enlighten them Father God—open their eyes to the truth of Your Word.  We break that spirit of deception—eyes that are blind to the truth of the Holy Spirit and His work in the Body of Christ.  Illumination, illumination!  The truth is bringing illumination into the hearts of God’s people.  And there will be a desire and a thirst for the living waters.  Oh say, say, say!  Oh, we thank You Father that the overflow from Your people is going flowing out into the earth—it floods the earth.  Ha! Ha!  Yes, the rivers will be filled with fishes.  Your Word says we’ll be fishers of men.  Ha! Ha! Ha!  Oh, God’s people flourishing.  We’re flourishing, we’re flourishing.  Living water!  Living water!  The Church is affected, the world is affected through the Church—the Spirit of God.  The anointing, the anointing, the anointing!  Lord God we are not going to be satisfied till You fill us up!  No more drives places in Your people—no dry places! Thank You Father.  You said to ask, and You would hear and respond—we have asked, and You are responding, and Your Church is being saturated by the Spirit of God.  Ha! Ha!  No more resisting the truth, no more resisting the truth—receptive hearts to the voice of the Spirit.  Ha! Ha! Ha!  Deep waters—Father takes us into the deep waters, the deep wasters of Your Spirit.  Over our heads Lord so there will be nothing left of ourselves but everything of You.  Thank You Lord.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

Ps 119:107 – Revive me, O Lord, according to Your Word.

Revival is a visitation of God’s Spirit in God’s people which alters the lives of individuals.

*Noah Webster 1828 Revival
REVI’VAL, noun [from revive.] 1. Return, recall or recovery to life from death or apparent death; as the revival of a drowned person.
2. Return or recall to activity from a state of languor; as the revival of spirits.
3. Recall, return or recovery from a state of neglect, oblivion, obscurity or depression; as the revival of letters or learning.
4. Renewed and more active attention to religion; an awakening of men to their spiritual concerns

Christian Quote About Revival:
“Oh! men and brethren, what would this heart feel if I could but believe that there were some among you who would go home and pray for a revival men whose faith is large enough, and their love fiery enough to lead them from this moment to exercise unceasing intercessions that God would appear among us and do wondrous things here, as in the times of former generations. ” ~ Charles Spurgeon

Billy Sunday on Revival
When is a revival needed? When carelessness and unconcern keep the people asleep.
When may a revival be expected? When the wickedness of the wicked grieves and distresses the Christian.

Henry Blackaby on Revival
When Holy God draws near in true revival, people come under terrible conviction of sin. The outstanding feature of spiritual awakening has been the profound consciousness of the Presence and holiness of God.
All revival begins, and continues, in the prayer meeting. Some have also called prayer the “great fruit of revival.” In times of revival, thousands may be found on their knees for hours, lifting up their heartfelt cries, with thanksgiving, to heaven.
During true revival, thousands of lost people are suddenly swept into the Kingdom of God. Scenes of the lost coming to the Savior in great, and unprecedented numbers, are common.

“We need a Heaven-sent revival, a burning fire from on high,
A purifying passion and a forsaking of our stubborn pride.
We need a vision of eternity, of Hell and the Judgement Day,
A fervent love for our Savior, that will gladly serve and obey.
We need a Pentecostal purging and a breaking deep within,
A vision of God Almighty and a river of tears for our nations sin.
We need a Heaven-sent revival, a burning fire set ablaze.
Yet, we’ll never see such glory, until the Church begins to pray.” – David Smithers
We prayed towards revival in ourselves/church. As we are revived it will affect our families.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Terry Nyenhuis

‘This Great Awakening’
Prophecy given by Kenneth Copeland July 4, 2009

“This ‘Great Awakening’ that is hanging heavy over the United States even tonight. This ‘Great Awakening’ that’s hanging heavy around the nations of the world but most especially in this country and in Canada. This ‘Great Awakening’ that is hanging there, just hanging there to be realized and to be, to be flowed and released throughout this nation and throughout the nation of Canada, and then in turn throughout the rest of the world.

“The prayer, the prayer, the prayer, the prayer that’s gone forth. The prayer that is going forth, that’s where the power release is. That’s where the trigger to these things is, that’s the way you release them in your church. And thus saith the Lord thy God, “In this hour these churches that are teaching and training people to pray of which are on this list and many others also, those are the churches where the explosion and the Shekinah glory of God will be manifest first.

“The praying churches will walk in it first. And they’ll say, “My, revival broke out over there.’ No, answered prayer broke out over there.’ The ‘Awakening’ will come out of congregations. There is a hunger in this nation for holiness. Holiness—real truth, Bible purity before God—and people will run into houses of worship where the glory of God is residing and hanging heavy. And they’ll say, “Clean, clean, clean! Oh to be clean, to be clean.” And they’ll run into that atmosphere and My blood will cleanse them from the top of their head to the soles of their feet.

“And My Word will take root on the inside of them, and this nation is headed for a Holy Ghost wake-up call. It is on us now—you rejoice, for we’ll see it before many hours go by. Hallelujah.

  • “The Churches that are teaching and training people to pray …will walk in it first …The Awakening will come out of congregations”
  • That’s Eagles Nest!
  • You are the Teacher!
  • You’re teaching the teachers who teach and train people to pray
  • Rightly dividing the Word of Truth where prayer is concerned
  • Going deeper – Deborah and all the other prayer leaders
  • Teach us what we ought to pray ( Rom 8:26)

Ps 24:3-4

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.

On the third day He will raise us up,

Eph 5:14-16
Therefore He says:

Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”

  • Father the things that we have learned for revival, we pray that for us, our families, the Hispanic church. We pray that through us being revived, we will see people being saved through evangelism. An outpouring like we’ve never seen before. A coast to coast revival and awakening. A coast to coast awakening. It begins with the believers, to the church, to outside the walls, spreading to communities, regions and nations.
  • This Your will for Canada and our church – growth and increase.
  • Growth and increase for the Hispanic church. We pray for the spark of desire to be in Your presence, to hear Your voice and desire to keep Your Word and to do these things.

  • Marvellous are Your works oh Lord and this our soul knows very well. Ha! Ha! Marvellous are Your way; marvellous are Your thoughts towards us; marvellous are Your plans and purposes for our lives. Oh, we are honoured to join with You Father God to see Your kingdom come to earth and Your will be done. Ha! Ha! Oh arise, arise, arise and shine for our Light has come and the glory of God is upon us! Oh, Father we cry out for a visitation of Your Spirit. A visitation oh God that will change our lives—a visitation that changes us as individuals, as families, as a Church, as a province and a region, and as a nation. We invite You Holy Spirit to work in us—move upon us, soften hearts that are hard. Open blind eyes and deaf ears so that people can see and hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Rain down upon our government Lord God Your wisdom from on high—God discernment to know what to do in these days. We bind every work of darkness, every covert and hidden plan of Satan. We say, “Light shines in darkness and darkness is dispelled in the name of Jesus.” We lift up all those in authority in our nation. Our Prime Minister and his cabinet; federal, provincial, and municipal government. We lift up our mayors, city council men and women, our judges, and our supreme court—ears to hear what the Spirit of God says unto them we pray this morning. We say, “The spirit of pride, the spirit of arrogance is being uprooted in Jesus’ name.” Humbled hearts to serve as they were called to serve by God. It’s for the good of the land and its people. Peace! We speak to this nation—shalom, shalom, shalom from sea to sea. Jesus Christ reigns and there’s shalom. Ha! Ha! The blood prevails over this nation and COVID-19 is cut of at the root—no place, in Jesus’ name.
  • Ha! Ha! A move of the Spirit upon the labourers, they’re motivated by the Spirit of God and they move—no stopping, they’re on kingdom business. Open doors that were once closed—God doors—no man shall shut these doors, no demon in hell shall shut these doors! They go through these doors and bring the saving gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. Oh, the harvest is ripe and ready! Oh receive, receive, the Truth has come, receive it in the name of Jesus. Salvation comes, deliverance comes, restoration comes, and it comes in the name of the Lord. O,h great shall be the harvest! Great shall be the harvest! Great shall be the harvest! Our God shall have a great harvest in these last days! Ha! Ha! Yes—no more entanglement with the world! Yes, they are being untangled! Mountains are being brought low; valleys are being lifted; crooked places made straight; and rough places made smooth. Rain down Holy Spirit, rain down.
  • Father we ask You to set Eagles’ Nest on fire—set us on fire Lord. Holy Ghost fire like this congregation has never experienced. Fire! Fire! Fire in our midst! It purifies this congregation. It prepares this congregation for what’s ahead! Not one left untouched Lord. Consume us with Your fire Lord God!
  • Peace to Jerusalem! Let Your fire fall down upon Your people Lord God! The breath of Your Spirit breathing life into dry bones. We lift up the government—both groups that are leading Lord God, grant unto them Your wisdom. Grant unto them Your discernment—sensitive ears to hear what You’re saying unto them. We cover them under the blood of Jesus. We say, “COVID-19 is cut off at the root. We pray strength to the Messianic Jews—provide for them Lord God—every need met according to Your riches in glory. Ha! Ha! Chains that once held doors shut are being unlocked—supernatural intervention. Many, many, many shall come through these doors to hear the gospel—many Lord God for Your kingdom. As Your labourers minister the Word, it’s lifting burdens and destroying yokes. It’s opening eyes to see and ears to hear and salvation comes in the name of the Lord. Thank You Jesus.

Jesus Gives the Disciples a Warning: Matthew 26:31-35 (TPT) – 31 Along the way Jesus said to them, “Before the night is over, you will all desert Me. This will fulfill the prophecy of the Scripture that says: I will strike down the Shepherd and all the sheep will scatter far and wide! 32 “But after I am risen, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and will meet you there.” 33 Then Peter spoke up and said, “Even if all the rest lose their faith and fall away, I will still be beside You, Jesus!” 34 “Are you sure, Peter?” Jesus said. “In fact, before the rooster crows a few hours from now, you will have denied me three times.” 35 Peter replied, “I absolutely will never deny you, even if I have to die with you!” And all the others said the same thing.

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane: Matthew 26:36-41 (TPT) – 36 Then Jesus led His disciples to an orchard called “The Oil Press.” He told them, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37 He took Peter, Jacob, and John with Him. However, an intense feeling of great sorrow plunged His soul into deep sorrow and agony. 38 And He said to them, “My heart is overwhelmed and crushed with grief. It feels as though I’m dying. Stay here and keep watch with Me.” 39 Then He walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, He threw Himself face down on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way You can deliver Me from this suffering, please take it from Me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfill Your plan for Me.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to strengthen Him. 40 Later, He came back to His three disciples and found them all sound asleep. He awakened Peter and said to him, “Do you lack the strength to stay awake with Me for even just an hour? 41 Keep alert and pray that you’ll be spared from this time of testing. You should have learned by now that your spirit is eager enough, but your humanity is weak.”

Peter’s Denials: Matthew 26:69-75 (TPT) – 69 Meanwhile, Peter was still sitting outside in the courtyard when a servant girl came up to him and said, “I recognize you. You were with Jesus the Galilean.” 70 In front of everyone Peter denied it and said, “I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.” 71 Later, as he stood near the gateway of the courtyard, another servant girl noticed him and said, “I know this man is a follower of Jesus the Nazarene!” 72 Once again, Peter denied it, and with an oath he said, “I tell you, I don’t know the Man!” 73 A short time later, those standing nearby approached Peter and said, “We know you’re one of his disciples—we can tell by your speech. Your Galilean accent gives you away!” 74 Peter denied it, and using profanity he said, “I don’t know the Man!” At that very moment the sound of a crowing rooster pierced the night. 75 Then Peter remembered the prophecy of Jesus, “Before the rooster crows you will have denied Me three times.” With a shattered heart, Peter went out of the courtyard, sobbing with bitter tears.

Luke 22:32 (TPT) – But I have prayed for you, Peter, that you would stay faithful to Me no matter what comes. Remember this: after you have turned back to Me and have been restored, make it your life mission to strengthen the faith of your brothers.”

1 Peter 4:7 (TPT) – Since we are approaching the end of all things, be intentional, purposeful, and self-controlled so that you can be given to prayer.

Luke 21:34-36 (TPT) – 34 “Be careful that you never allow your hearts to grow cold. Remain passionate and free from anxiety and the worries of this life. Then you will not be caught off guard by what happens. Don’t let Me come and find you drunk or careless in living like everyone else. 35 For that day will come as a shocking surprise to all, like a downpour that drenches everyone, catching many unaware and unprepared. 36 Keep a constant watch over your soul, and pray for the courage and grace to prevail over these things that are destined to occur and that you will stand before the presence of the Son of Man with a clear conscience.”

Matthew 24:42-44 (TPT) – 42 This is why you must stay alert: because no one knows the day your Lord will come. 43 “But realize this: If a homeowner had known what time of night the burglar would come to rob his house, he would have been alert and ready, and not let his house be robbed. 44 So always be ready, alert, and prepared, because at an hour when you’re not expecting Him, the Son of Man will come.”

Jesus has warned us and told us what to do in these last day so that we can endure to the end….this is a call to watchfulness and prayer for the Body of Christ. Revelations 16:15 (TPT) – “Behold, I come like a thief! God’s blessing is with the one who remains awake and fully clothed in Me and will not walk about naked, exposed to disgrace.”

  • Oh, thank You Jesus. Lord You love us enough to warn us ahead of time what we need to do in these last days. Lord we ask You for strength to stand and having done all to continue to stand. Father, where You people have deaf ears and are blind to the truth of Your Word, we ask You to open their eyes and ears this morning to the revelation of Your Word and the voice of Your Spirit. Oh, awaken Your Church! Awaken Your Church—let Your Word explode in their hearts—revelation and understanding to walk in these days. A victorious walk! A triumphant walk! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up Church! Watch and pray! Watch and pray that you don’t enter into temptation! Ho! Ho! Oh, a sensitivity to the voice of the Spirit—this is the way; walk in the Light; walk in the Truth; and walk in the Spirit! Oh, this is the narrow way. This is the path that is lit! The Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. This is not a dark path, but it is lit by the glory of God! Flee sin, everything that binds you and hinders you. No confusion in the Church. Father let the Word of God be preached with clarity—uncompromised truth. Father convict those pastors and leaders that are setting up obstacles that Your people to stumble and fall. Father convict their hearts—let the fear of of God be upon them. Father we ask for an outpouring of the Spirit on Your Church—the fires of heaven burning up dross, burning up flesh. We humble ourselves this morning and we ask for the Holy Spirit’s help. We’re not leaning on our own understanding and strength—or the arm of flesh, but we’re leaning on You Father. You are our confidence, and our trust is in You to complete the work You have begun in us until the day of Jesus Christ’s return. Thank You Lord.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

I heard ‘Coming out of entanglement’

Definition of entangle: to catch or involve in or as if in a tangle, ensnare; to involve in difficulties, entrap; to confuse mentally; a relationship regarded as damaging or compromising

Synonyms– trap, complicate

2 Tim 2:23-26 AMPC
But refuse (shut your mind against, have nothing to do with) trifling (ill-informed, unedifying, stupid) controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong.
25 He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the Truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it],
26 And that they may come to their senses [and] escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him, [henceforth] to do His [God’s] will.

2 Tim 2:23-26 MSG
Run away from infantile indulgence. Run after mature righteousness—faith, love, peace—joining those who are in honest and serious prayer before God. Refuse to get involved in inane discussions; they always end up in fights. God’s servant must not be argumentative, but a gentle listener and a teacher who keeps cool, working firmly but patiently with those who refuse to obey. You never know how or when God might sober them up with a change of heart and a turning to the truth, enabling them to escape the Devil’s trap, where they are caught and held captive, forced to run his errands.

2 Cor 4:4
whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

1 Tim 4:1
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

We prayed towards the loosing of those deceiving seducing spirits that have entangled us ourselves and our family members. It is the anointing that lifts burdens and destroys yokes.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Terry Nyenhuis

Holiness: The Final Frontier
Written by Gloria Copeland

Today the Church is standing at the edge of a great frontier. I believe it is the final frontier that stands between us and the fullness of God’s glory. On the other side lie the greatest manifestations of God’s power this earth has ever seen.

What is this last great, spiritual frontier?

That’s right. Holiness is the final frontier. And we will cross it before Jesus comes to catch us away. I know we will because the Bible says He is coming for a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle (Eph. 5:27). In other words, He is coming for a Church that is holy.

Holiness is what allows the glory of God to be manifest. So the more we walk in holiness, the more God will be able to pour forth His glory through us! Holiness is a formidable word to many. But it simply means separation to God for His use.

I’m Doing the Best I Can
Knowing that should make us hungry for holiness. It should make us more eager than ever to separate ourselves from the things of the world unto the things of the Spirit. It should give us an intense desire to obey Romans 12, which says:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (vv. 1-2).

“But, Gloria,” you may say, “I’m doing the best I can.” Oh, you won’t be able to use that cop-out after you hear about Max!

Max, our grandson, is the youngest in his family and is used to being pampered by his three big sisters. So, when he started kindergarten, he was very surprised to find out that in kindergarten, he wasn’t the center of attention. He was especially distressed to discover he was actually expected to sit still at times.

For the first few weeks, Max just didn’t seem to be able to do it. He got in trouble again and again. One day, his mother was talking to him about it and he threw up his hands in desperation. “I’m doing the best I can!”

“Well Max, that’s not good enough. You are going to have to do better,” his mother said.

In all exasperation with his mother, Max said, “I told you, I’m doing the best I can!”

Within the next few weeks, Max grew tired of having to stay on the sidewalk during recess (that’s the punishment for misbehaving in his class), and he discovered he could indeed do better.

I’ve thought about that many times in recent months when God was dealing with me about some area of dedication and consecration. Sometimes I’d say, “Lord, I’m doing the best I can!”

No, Gloria, you’re not doing the best you can, I said to myself, thinking of Max. You’re doing the best you want to do.

That’s the way it’s been with the Church in general. When it comes to laying “aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us” (Heb. 12:1), we haven’t done all we know to do. We’ve just done all we wanted to do.

We may have put away from us the major sins and even many minor sins, but there are some worldly hindrances we’ve held onto because our flesh enjoyed them. One example that immediately comes to my mind is secular television. Almost every situation comedy on television dishonors God and what God says is right. Almost every one is profane and unholy.

Yet many believers will sit there and watch those shows night after night. They’ll feed on the garbage of the world and not even realize that it is draining them of spiritual strength and compromising their own holiness.

Second Corinthians 6:14 says, “…what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” What business do we have entertaining our flesh with the sin and garbage of this world when we’re indwelt by the very Spirit of God Himself?

I realize when you start thinking about laying aside that favorite television show – or anything else that feeds your carnal appetite – your flesh gets uncomfortable. But God hasn’t called us to make our flesh comfortable, He has called us to crucify it. He has called us to “mortify [or put to death] the deeds of the body” (Rom. 8:13).

He has called us to “…cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates and defiles body and spirit, and bring [our] consecration to completeness in the (reverential) fear of God” (2 Cor. 7:1 AMP). Notice that verse doesn’t say we must ask God to cleanse us. He has already cleansed us on the inside, now it’s our responsibility to cleanse ourselves on the outside.

Your body is your responsibility. It’s not God’s responsibility. He has given you His Spirit to enable you to mortify the deeds of the body (Rom. 8:13-14). He has given you His Word and His Spirit to teach you what you need to do. Now it’s your responsibility to obey Him. It’s your job to sell out completely to God, to do everything He tells you to do.

Some people say, “Well, God hasn’t told me to do anything.”

That just means they haven’t been putting themselves in position to hear His voice. He is always telling us to come up higher. He is always saying, Step on up to another level of spiritual life. I have more for you!

Set Your Affection
I’ll warn you in advance, some of the things the Lord may ask you to lay down on this road to holiness may not necessarily be sinful. They may simply be the weights referred to in Hebrews 12:1.

What are weights? They are natural interests or pursuits that take up your time or energy and hold you down in this natural realm. They are earthly distractions that may not necessarily be bad in themselves, yet they keep you from going higher in spiritual pursuits.

Weights are also anything that takes God’s place in your heart. God is supposed to have the first and supreme place in your affections. He is not meant to be one of many treasures in your life. He is meant to be the treasure of your life – even your first love.

Colossians 3:1-2 says, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Once again, notice that verse doesn’t say the Lord will set your affection for you. It says you must set your affection. It’s your responsibility.

Actually, your affection follows your attention. So when your affection toward some earthly pursuit or hobby grows too strong, the Lord will often prompt you to set it aside and turn your attention completely away from it for a time, so you can once again set your affection firmly where it should be – on Him.

If you haven’t been devoting much time to the Lord, you may find it very difficult to overcome your fleshly desires. You may find yourself laying them down one day…and picking them back up the next, because spiritually you’re just not strong enough to do what you know you should do.

When you find yourself in that condition, immediately begin to spend more time reading and meditating on the Word of God. Start spending more time in prayer and fellowship with Him. Your union with the Lord is what makes your spirit strong, so focus on maintaining that union.

You’ll soon find you have more than enough strength to overcome that stubborn sin, or turn off that television program, or set aside that golf game, or cancel that trip to the mall when the Lord prompts you.

Remember this: The Lord can change anything about you. He can take care of any situation in your life if you’ll give Him enough of your time. As you spend time with Him in the Word and in prayer, you’ll begin to get victory on the inside of you. And once you get victory on the inside, victory on the outside is a sure thing!

For the Sake of the Glory
Granted, walking this road of holiness isn’t easy. It isn’t something you can do without any effort or fleshly discomfort. If you’re going to grow in holiness, if you’re going to mortify the deeds of the body, you will experience some suffering – the denying of your flesh.

But I say with the Apostle Paul, “[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time…are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!” (Rom. 8:18, AMP).

God wants to pour out His glory in us and upon us. He wants us to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. He wants us to cast out demons and raise the dead. He wants us to have so much of His power flowing through our mortal flesh that He can do signs and wonders through us. That is our destiny as sons and daughters of God.

But He cannot fully do what He desires until we are living sanctified, holy lives before Him. He cannot do it until He has our whole heart-until we surrender everything in our lives to Him and yield ourselves in total obedience to the promptings of His Spirit.

He cannot pour out upon us the full measure of His glory until we so submit ourselves to Him that we can say as Jesus did, “I come to do thy will, O God” (Heb. 10:9).

I’m telling you, God is going to have a people who say that to Him before Jesus returns. He is going to have people who so hunger after Him and His glory that they are willing to set aside anything in their lives that might hinder it. He is going to have people who have heard and heeded the words Jesus spoke to His first disciples:

“Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it” (Mark 8:34-35).

I have determined in my heart once and for all that I am going to be one of those people. I have determined that I will walk this road of holiness day by day so that the glory of God can rest increasingly upon me. I have made up my mind that when I stand before the Lord Jesus, I will hear Him say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

It seems I see that day continually with the eyes of my heart. I know it’s coming, and because of that, I cannot give up. I cannot quit. I must keep on becoming progressively more and more separated unto the Lord.

I urge you to make that same commitment today. Don’t put it off another moment, for the time is very short. Jesus is surely coming soon. So bow your heart before the Lord today and say:

Lord Jesus, I yield everything I have and everything I am to You today. I determine in my heart to set my affection on things above, and by the energizing power of Your Spirit to keep my flesh crucified, laying aside every sin and weight that would hinder me in my walk with You. I set myself from this day on to do Your will, O God. I’m asking You, Lord, to enlighten my heart, to speak to me and tell me what changes I need to make in my life. I set myself now to hear and obey Your voice. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Heb 12:11-14 AMPC
For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness—in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].
12 So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees,
13 And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame and halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured.
14 Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.
We are praying for the Body of Christ – that we would recognize we’re in the FINAL FRONTIER – HOLINESS.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Pastor Ric Borozny

1 Tim 2:1-4

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  • Father we lift up our federal, provincial, regional and municipal governments and we hold them before You. You hold their hearts in Your hand. I thank You Father Your Word says you set them in, and You take them down. We pray especially for our federal government and that the decisions they have to make would be based on godly counsel.
  • You are making a way where there seems to be no way. You are opening a door that can’t be closed. The Word will continue to go forth where there seems to be no way.
  • I thank You Father You are providing favour for Your church, church leaders and the federal government. I thank You there is a secular re-evaluation for the church. Father they won’t be a hindrance.
  • I thank You for a willingness of Christians to speak Your Word. I thank You Father in this hour You grant us all boldness to speak Your Word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the Name of Your holy Servant Jesus. I thank You Jesus as we go forth with the gospel You promise You are working with us in mighty signs and wonders. We thank You this is the hour of Your power. I thank You Christians will not shirk their duties as soldiers of the cross.
  • We pray in the Spirit for Israel. Do it! Do it! Do it! Thank You Father You set their foreheads like flint and they stand shoulder to shoulder, not breaking rank. And we declare the Lord’s will be done in this matter in Jesus’ name. Thank You Father the eyes of their understanding is being opened. And the decisions they make are according to Your way in Jesus’ name. I thank You Father You are still providing time and speaking to their hearts. And I thank you Father they are rising up to possess their possessions and their inheritance. They are moved by God’s will in Jesus’ name.
  • We confess Psalm 91 over our families and members, especially our front-line workers. Father we believe we receive, and it is done. We thank You for Your divine protection in Jesus’ name.

John 4:30-38
Then they went out of the city and came to Him.
31 In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”
32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”
33 Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?”
34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”

Luke 15:17-22
“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’
20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.
We are praying for the harvest, which includes the prodigals. We are praying that shame gets lifted from the prodigals through godly sorrow – godly decisions to turn back to God.

  • Father we lift up that harvest – the ones that are coming over the hill because they have heard about Jesus. And we also pray for shame to be lifted from the prodigals. Lord enable us to handle the massive amounts of people coming. Loose them! Loose them! Loose them in Jesus’ name! Loose them! Ha, ha, ha! Ho, ho, ho!
  • Father I thank You Lord for the harvest coming in – they are going to be babes. I thank You for those labourers that will nurture the baby Christians. Regarding the prodigals – once there is genuine repentance, we will receive them back as our heavenly Father has.
  • I thank You we will keep our hearts right during all this. Willing hearts to do Your will, not ours. We are excited for the prodigals coming back into right relationship with You.
  • We are so thankful for the Holy Spirit bringing godly sorrow which brings repentance.

  • Oh, we just welcome You here this morning Holy Spirit. We’re here for kingdom purpose, to pray the will of the Father for this day and for things to come. Glory, glory hallelujah!
  • Father You commanded up to pray according to 1 Timothy 2:1-6 (TPT). Father we are witnesses in the earth. We are obedient children of God heeding Your Word. We pray for our government this morning. For our Prime Minister and his office; for the federal, provincial, and municipal government. We pray for our mayors’ offices and city council men and women. We pray for our judges. We pray for our police officers, the armed forces, and those that guard our borders. We pray for godly wisdom; we pray for a desire to honour God and to obey His commandments. We pray that uprightness would not be dwell in our government (those in authority). Men and women of honour and integrity and who walk in the fear of God. Oh, Father winnow out, take out those who are ungodly and who fight against Your plans and purposes. Oh, grant unto them ears to hear and a willingness to do what is right for this nation and for the good of the people—we pray this in Jesus name. Oh, conviction for our Prime Minister Lord God, he’s fighting against You and that’s a dangerous thing. Convict his heart. Convict his heart of those things that are unrighteous. Oh, Your wisdom dismantling the wisdom of men Father. A turning around in our government—a turning back to righteousness, a turning back to truth. A putting away of all that is evil. We plead of the blood of Jesus over this nation. Lord preserve and keep us. We Your people ask this Father in the name of Jesus.
  • Father we lift up President Trump. Father You said You would bless those who bless Your people—and there is a curse upon those who do not. President Trump has stood for Israel and has stood for Your Church. Father God, bless him, bless him. Preserve him. Ministering angels, this morning, bring a word of encouragement. Warring angels stand guard around him and his family—keeping and protecting them. We speak peace into his heart this morning—the peace of God that passes all understanding. Father put godly people around him that will speak truth into his heart and into his life—godly counsel, words of wisdom, words that direct. Show him the hidden thing that he needs to see so he can make wise decisions. Lord let the Church rise up and stand behind him—he is the man for this hour. Forgive the Church where we have said vile things against him. Bitter and sweet cannot come out of the mouth at the same time. Hatred and love don’t co-habit. Awaken the Church to this truth.
  • Oh, we lift up the precious souls Lord God that don’t know You yet. Oh Lord God a great awakening, a great awakening! We call forth the angel of the harvest and the angel of awakening! A drawing Lord God, a drawing. A hungering and thirsting after righteousness. We bind every vile spirit that would try and hinder these precious souls—we uproot you in Jesus name. The spirit of deception, spirit of pride, lying spirits we say, “You are defeated in Jesus name.” The blood prevails over the harvest: individuals, families, neighbourhoods, our nation and the nations of the earth. A great harvest coming in without number. Oh, rain down Holy Spirit—rain down—saturate, soften the hearts of men that they will receive the gospel of Christ. That they receive the Word with gladness, holding fast to the truth and not letting it go. Fruit bearers—they bear fruit for the kingdom of God.
  • Labourers with a word in season. The love of God flowing out of them as they minister the Word. The compassion of God moving them to act. Father God touch them—a fresh anointing, strength being imparted. They’re about the Master’s business. They’re not going to be distracted; they’re not going to be stopped; they know the heart of God is for men to be saved.
  • We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the government of Israel. We cover them under the blood of Jesus. Oh, we say, “Angels of protection, angels of provision, messenger angels are all on assignment this morning.” Strength to the people of God in Israel. Open doors open doors—You’re opening doors for them to go through and minister the Word that will transform lives. We thank You Father. Thank You Lord.

It is very encouraging that in a world of change and decay there are some things which can never be shaken. In Hebrews 12 we learn that a time of shaking is to be expected, for the writer predicts that there is coming a terrible time in the world when everything, except certain things which can never be shaken, will be dissolved and removed – 2 Peter 3:10 (TPT) – The day of the Lord will come and take everyone by surprise—as unexpected as a home invasion. The atmosphere will be set on fire and vanish with a horrific roar, and the heavenly bodies will melt away as in a tremendous blaze. The earth and every activity of man will be laid bare.

Confidence is in the things that can never be shaken:

1. The Throne of God can never be shaken – Psalm 45:6 (TPT) – Your glory-kingdom, O God, endures forever, for You are enthroned to rule with a justice-scepter in Your hand!

2. The Word of God can never be shaken – Peter 1:23-25 (TPT) – 23 For through the eternal and living Word of God you have been born again. And this “seed” that He planted within you can never be destroyed but will live and grow inside of you forever. For: 24 Human beings are frail and temporary, like grass, and the glory of man fleeting like blossoms of the field. The grass dries and withers and the flowers fall off, 25 but the Word of the Lord endures forever! And this is the Word that was announced to you!

a) Its promises can never be shaken.
b) Its power can never be shaken
c) Its prophecies can never be shaken

3. The true Church of God can never be shaken – Matthew 16:18-19 (VOICE) – This is why I have called you Peter (rock): for on this rock I will build My church. The church will reign triumphant even at the gates of hell. 19 Peter, I give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

4. The children of God can never be shaken – Romans 8:38-39 (TPT) – 38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

a) All power and authority has been given to the children of God to overcome all their adversaries – Luke 10:19 (TPT) – Now you understand that I have imparted to you all My authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will be able to harm you as you walk in this authority.

We are praying for those in the Body of Christ that have been shaken by the troubles taking place in this world; trials and tribulations of this life; oppression and depression of the mind; trouble in their family, finances, health.

  • Father this morning we stand on behalf of those in the Body of Christ who have been shaken by the troubles of this life. We declare we don’t trust in man or draw strength from mere flesh. We refuse to lean on our own understanding. We declare Your Word alone, which is the anchor of our souls and strength to our spirit – 5 Father we are standing in absolute stillness, silent before the One we love, waiting as long as it takes for You to rescue us. Only You are our Savior, and You will not fail us. 6 For You alone are our safe place. Your wrap-around presence always protects us as our Champion Defender. There’s no risk of failure with You! So why would we let worry paralyze us, even when troubles multiply around us? 7 Your glory is all around us! Your wrap-around presence is all we need, for You Lord are our Savior, our Hero, and our life-giving strength. (personalized)Psalm 62:5-7 (TPT). Father help us to understand this truth. Help us to put this into our hearts. Holy Spirit we cry out for Your help—lead us back to the Word. Bring to our remembrance what we’ve heard and learned. We look to You Father God. You’re our strength; You’re our deliverer; You’re our hope; You provide; You protect; You surround us Lord God with Your presence. Those that are shaken Lord God, help them to come back to the place where there is fullness of joy. Holy Spirit remind them that the Father has never left them, nor will He forsake them in their times of trouble. People of God, take your eyes off the world; take your eyes of the circumstances, situations, the problems. Look to the One Who has paid for it all. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. A returning Father—those who’ve wondered away from the Word. They’re returning to the Word that endures forever. Oh, we cover every mind with the blood of Jesus. We bind and break that spirit of confusion in the name of Jesus. We bind that spirit of fear that has intimidated the people of God. Your Word says You have not given us a spirit of far but of power, love, and a sound mind and we hold fast to that. Father where there is sin that has caused broken fellowship with You let there be repentance this morning. Father forgive us of those sins that have grieved Your Spirit. We return to the Word that will wash us. We return to the Word that will transform our minds—we have the mind of Christ.
  • Lord, even when Your path takes us through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer us, for You already have! You remain close to us and lead us through it all the way. Your authority is our strength and our peace. The comfort of Your love takes away our fear. We’ll never be lonely, for You are near. Father You have left us with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace You gave is a gift the world cannot give. This morning we say, “We will not be troubled, we will not be afraid (personalized) Psalm 23:4 (TPT). We we will not be moved. We will stand on Your Word that is unshakable, it’s undefeatable. We keep our eyes on You Father—the Author and Finisher of our faith. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who helps us. We draw on Him this morning. Thank You Father.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

I awoke with this line in my spirit -“Prisoner of hope.”

Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you.
Zechariah 9:12 NKJV

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.
Romans 15:13 AMPC

When you are on the verge or have let go of hope, you are like a ship where the anchor has been cut away and you, the ship, are then subject to every wave or gust of wind as it is blown across the water. Therefore, you are helpless when you are hopeless.

Hope is our anchor to faith (Heb 6:19) and without faith we cannot please God. Without hope, we cannot maintain faith; they must coexist.

Hope is a fortress (a place of protection & safety). This is where we are to return as a prisoner of hope. A prisoner is one bound to something; held captive. Hope should hold our hearts and minds captive.

God says we are to return (recompense, reverse, reward, rescue, relieve us) and promises us double.
Hope releases the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are praying towards us being those PRISONERS OF HOPE regarding the promises God has given us regarding our families, finances, marriages, spouses, children, health, job, relationships, Eagles Nest ministry, etc.
