Prayer Summary for July 28, 2021

By | July Prayer Directives | No Comments

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
Matthew 8:18‭, ‬23‭-‬27 NKJV

On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
Mark 4:35‭-‬41 NKJV

Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”
Luke 8:22‭-‬25 NKJV

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
Matthew 7:24‭-‬27 NKJV

Don’t be like Peter looking at the boisterous wind/waves. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus – Matt:14:29-30 (this took place during the 4th watch, which was considered the last watch – the 1 yard line; don’t let fear, doubt, etc. cause you to sink).

Storms come into our lives, families, and ministry but we must be built on the Rock, the Word of the Lord, regarding those situations. As we remain steadfast, and speak the Word/peace to the storm, we have the victory on the other side.

Prayer Summary for July 27, 2021

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Terry Nyenhuis

1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Prayed…

We prayed out the following scriptures for Pastor Ric especially, and Eagles Nest congregation as well.

(All from the Passion Translation Bible)

Ephesians 1:15-23
Because of this, since I first heard about your strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and your tender love toward all his devoted ones, 16 my heart is always full and overflowing with thanks to God for you as I constantly remember you in my prayers. 17 I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him.
18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!
19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power 20 that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm! 21 And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming!
22 And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given him the highest rank above all others. 23 And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it!

Ephesians 3:14-21
So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, 15 the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. 16 And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.
17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.
18–19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!
20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.
21 Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!

Philippians 1:3-10
My prayers for you are full of praise to God as I give him thanks for you with great joy! I’m so grateful for our union 5 and our enduring partnership that began the first time I presented to you the gospel. 6 I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!
7 It’s no wonder I pray with such confidence, since you have a permanent place in my heart! You have remained partners with me in the wonderful grace of God even though I’m here in chains for standing up for the truth of the gospel. 8 Only God knows how much I dearly love you with the tender affection of Jesus, the Anointed One.
9 I continue to pray for your love to grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight in all things.
10 This will enable you to choose the most excellent way of all—becoming pure and without offense until the unveiling of Christ.

Colossians 1:9-14
Since we first heard about you, we’ve kept you always in our prayers that you would receive the perfect knowledge of God’s pleasure over your lives, making you reservoirs of every kind of wisdom and spiritual understanding. 10 We pray that you would walk in the ways of true righteousness, pleasing God in every good thing you do. Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches, yielding to his life, and maturing in the rich experience of knowing God in his fullness! 11 And we pray that you would be energized with all his explosive power from the realm of his magnificent glory, filling you with great hope.
12 Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light. 13 He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom realm of his beloved Son. 14 For in the Son all our sins are canceled and we have the release of redemption through his very blood.

1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
We are grateful to God for your lives and we always pray for you. 3 For we remember before our God and Father how you put your faith into practice, how your love motivates you to serve others, and how unrelenting is your hope-filled patience in our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 3:11-13
Now may our Father God and our precious Lord Jesus guide our steps on a path straight back to you. 12 And may the Lord increase your love until it overflows toward one another and for all people, just as our love overflows toward you. 13 Then your hearts will be strengthened in holiness so that you may be flawless and pure before the face of our God and Father at the appearing of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones. Amen!

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
Now, may the God of peace and harmony set you apart, making you completely holy. And may your entire being—spirit, soul, and body—be kept completely flawless in the appearing of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. 24 The one who calls you by name is trustworthy and will thoroughly complete his work in you.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
With this in mind, we constantly pray that our God will empower you to live worthy of all that he has invited you to experience. And we pray that by his power all the pleasures of goodness and all works inspired by faith would fill you completely. 12 By doing this the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you will be glorified in him, by the marvelous grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-5, 16
Finally, dear brothers and sisters, pray for us that the Lord’s message will continue to spread rapidly and its glory be recognized everywhere, just as it was with you. 2 And pray that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people, for not everyone believes the message. 3 But the Lord Yahweh is always faithful to place you on a firm foundation and guard you from the Evil One. 4 We have complete confidence in the Lord concerning you and we are sure that you are doing and will continue to do what we have told you.
5 Now may the Lord move your hearts into a greater understanding of God’s pure love for you and into Christ’s steadfast endurance.

Isaiah 41:10-16 NKJV was received
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
11 “Behold, all those who were incensed against you
Shall be ashamed and disgraced;
They shall be as nothing,
And those who strive with you shall perish.
12 You shall seek them and not find them—
Those who contended with you.
Those who war against you
Shall be as nothing,
As a nonexistent thing.
13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
14 “Fear not, you worm Jacob,
You men of Israel!
I will help you,” says the LORD
And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15 “Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth;
You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small,
And make the hills like chaff.
16 You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away,
And the whirlwind shall scatter them;
You shall rejoice in the LORD,
And glory in the Holy One of Israel.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Joanne Summers

Prayed:

  • Father we just thank You this morning. This is the day You have made and we choose, no matter what, to rejoice and be glad in it. Faithful and True, Just and Righteous is Your name.
  • Oh, we lift up Israel this morning Father. These are critical days. Father we prayer for wisdom for the government. Ho! Ho! Ho! Your Word is unfolding within that nation. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Nothing is a surprise to You Lord God. Order the steps of those in government—grant unto them ears to hear what the Spirit of God is saying to them. We cover the nation under the blood of Jesus. We say, ‘Peace be unto Jerusalem. Peace to the Israeli people.” A spiritual awakening in the name of Jesus! Dry bones coming to life! The Word running swiftly piercing the hearts of men, women, boys, and girls. An awakening unto righteousness! Ha! Ha! Labourers on fire! Oh, they’re lighting the fire under people as they preach the Word. The fire of the Holy Ghost is in operation. Turn, turn, turn—today is the day of your salvation. Turn, in the name of Jesus. Angels on assignment. Father chase away Israel’s enemies—scatter them! Bring their plotting and their planning to nothing. Confusion in their enemies’ camps. Psalm 83:17-18 (TPT) – 17 Make them utter failures in everything they do until they perish in total disgrace and humiliation, 18 so they will know that You, and You alone, are Yahweh, the only Most High God exalted over all the earth!
  • Father we lift up Eagles Nest this morning. Revival fires! Revival fires! Revival fires! Ha! Ha! The glory of the Lord is in our midst! Eagles Nest, arise and shine for the light has come and the glory of God is upon you! Days of acceleration towards those promises that God has made! Days of acceleration! Days of manifestation! Say, say, say—glory be to God! We say, “Glory be to God!” He is watching over His word to perform it! And Father, we give You thanks for You are the Promise Keeper! We ask for wisdom for Pastor Ric and the leadership of this House., a sensitivity to the voice of the Holy Spirit. We thank You Father for the open doors. We thank You for our harvest. Ho! Ho! Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds! Grace and favour for this House, grace and favour! Favour with God and favour with men. We praise the name of God—Jesus be magnified! Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord! We declare, “It’s done!” We declare, it’s done in the name of Jesus!” Thank You Father.

Meaning of dispirited – not feeling hopeful about a situation or problem; discouragement; dejected; disheartened; gloomy; lost enthusiasm and excitement; down in the dumps or depressed; low; sad; glum; downcast; despondent. Synonyms: cast down, demoralized, hopeless, depressed, shattered, crushed.

Psalm 142:1-7 (MSG) – 1-2 I cry out loudly to God, loudly I plead with God for mercy. I spill out all my complaints before him, and spell out my troubles in detail: 3-7 “As I sink in despair, my spirit ebbing away, you know how I’m feeling, know the danger I’m in, the traps hidden in my path. Look right, look left—there’s not a soul who cares what happens! I’m up against the wall, with no exit—it’s just me, all alone. I cry out, God, call out: ‘You’re my last chance, my only hope for life!’ Oh listen, please listen; I’ve never been this low. Rescue me from those who are hunting me down; I’m no match for them. Get me out of this dungeon so I can thank you in public. Your people will form a circle around me and you’ll bring me showers of blessing!”

Circumstances and troubles drove David into a cave. He has 400 men with him, but he still felt alone. He had lost everything: a) his job in the royal court; b) lost the respect and acceptance of the king; c) lost his best friend – Jonathan; d) lost his mentor – Samuel; e) lost his wife – Michal; f) had to flee from his home into enemy territory (Gath) to avoid being killed by the king; g) mocked for being a so called former military conqueror; h) had to pretend to be insane to save his life – lost any sense of respect (including self-respect); i) he was in a literal, and emotional and spiritual cave

David had to take his eyes off what was happening to him, how he was feeling, and what others were doing. God had to become his source, deliver and his salvation—the One he put all his trust in.

Psalm 40:1-2 (NKJV) – I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.

Note: “I waited patiently” – Hebrew: lit. “waiting I waited” – the emphasis is not really on patience but that David waited solely on God. The verb “to wait” expresses a confident trust in God). “Inclined to me”- it presents an image of the Creator of the universe stooping from His throne to save the helpless: (Ps 103:5)

Life’s circumstance have many in a place of being dispirited—those in the world with no hope outside of themselves. They have not come into a personal experience of the great Saviour, great Deliver, great Provider, great Comforter, great Healer—the One who is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. Matthew 9:36 (AMPC) – When He saw the throngs, He was moved with pity and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd. Psalm 34:18 (MSG) – If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, He’ll help you catch your breath. Luke 19:10 (TPT) – The Son of Man has come to seek out and to give life to those who are lost.

There are believers who are also dispirited—no longer believing the promises of God—maybe because of timing/delays, or opposition from the enemy. They have let go of their faith—are no longer expectant. The Word says “For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen.” Luke 1:45 (NET) – And blessed is she who believed that what was spoken to her by the Lord would be fulfilled. Joshua 21:45 (NIV) – Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. Joshua 23:14 (NIV) – “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. Lamentations 2:17a (NIV) – The Lord has done what He planned; He has fulfilled His word, which He decreed long ago…

We are praying for the dispirited this morning (both the lost and believers).

Prayed…

  • We lift up those that are feeling dispirited this morning. Those believers that have lost their enthusiasm, their excitement for what You have promised. We come against the spirit of doubt and unbelief—we bind you in the name of Jesus. We say, “Faith arise, faith arise!” Lord God, that Your people would stir themselves up in their most holy faith. That their confident expectation would be in You. We declare, “Great deliverance is taking place amongst the people of God!” The Deliver has come; the Rescuer has come; the Healer has come; the Way maker, yes, the Promise Keeper! Do not loose heart and grown weary for Your God is faithful to perform all that He has promised! Hold fast and don’t let go! Ha! Ha! Our High Priest is interceding for us this morning and we give Him thanks. He has not forgotten nor forsaken us—that’s the promise of His Word. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus.
  • For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whomsoever shall believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Father we bring the downcast; the lost and the broken; the hopeless; the shattered and the crushed. Father Your moved with pity and compassion for those lost and dying in this world. They’re bewildered; harassed and distressed; dejected and helpless—like sheep without a shepherd. But Lord, You have come to seek and to save the lost and we hold them up before You this morning. I asked, “Spirit of the Living God blow across the harvest fields. Touch the hearts of men. Stir a desire within them for the Truth—for the Word of God—a hungering and thirsting after righteousness.” Many, many, many entering the fold! Ha! Ha! Ha! Father You’ll even go after the one—that one that believes that it’s all finished! But Lord, You have a new beginning for them. You’re pulling them up out of the miry clay and You’re setting their feet on the Rock which is Christ Jesus. I thank You Father for the labourers who preach Your Word passionately—with love and compassion for the lost. Thank You Lord for ordering their steps. Thank Your for strengthening them as they go about kingdom business. We thank You Father.

Prayer Summary for July 21, 2021

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

Sabotage definition: to deliberately stop someone from achieving something, or to deliberately prevent a plan or process from being successful; to intentionally do something that stops someone from achieving what they wat or stops something from developing as it should.

Charisma Magazine -I discerned the hindering spirits working against me but I didn’t see the higher-level spirit of sabotage that was ultimately at the root. In other words, I didn’t immediately discern the strongman of sabotage. A general of intercession revealed this to me when I shared with her the warfare coming against me. At that point, it was obvious, and I could see the workings of this spirit at several levels of my life, family and ministry.

Merriam-Webster defines “sabotage” as “destruction of an employer’s property (as tools or materials) or the hindering of manufacturing by discontented workers.”

Another definition of “sabotage” is “destructive or obstructive action carried on by a civilian or enemy agent to hinder a nation’s war effort.” Again, you see the hindering nature of the spirit of sabotage in this definition. The enemy agent is clear, and its agenda is an all-out war to take you off God’s track and oppress you, suppress you, repress you and depress you.

Additional definitions of “sabotage” include “an act or process tending to hamper or hurt” and “deliberate subversion.” The spirit of sabotage works with other spirits to take you to task, to hamper you, to hurt you and to purposefully and intentionally subvert you. For sake of clarity, “subvert” means “to secretly try to ruin or destroy a government, political system and so on”; “to make (something) weaker or less effective”; “to overturn or overthrow from the foundation”; and “to pervert or corrupt by an undermining or morals, allegiance or faith.”

WordPress – Sabotage according to Webster’s dictionary is deliberate destruction. It is destructive or hampering action by enemy agents.

Beware of the Spirit of Sabotage-

Sabotage is a strong demonic spirit with the agenda to stop, deliberately prevent the operation, success, and progress of God’s appointed destinies, purposes, potentials, organizations, dreams, visions, and relationships. It operates by stirring up jealousy and strife. It keeps contention going. It works to promote resentment and suspicion. It can be vindictive toward people. Self-sabotage is a destructive spirit that focuses on the insecurities of the individual to destroy personal progress or ground gained. Sabotage is sent to hinder and discourage relationship.

The conspiracy of sabotage is revealed in the book of Nehemiah. The bible says that Nehemiah, who was the cupbearer to the king, received a burden from the Lord to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. He was met with great opposition through ridicule, anger, mockery, and continued threats of war to hinder the work. The bible says that Nehemiah and those who worked with him overcame the opposition by continuously staying focused and praying. Nehemiah was a man destined with purpose, who remained vigilant and focused through prayer and God gave him the victory over his enemies.

Just a few Biblical examples -Joseph thrown in pit/slavery/ prison; Jesus from birth to death-where the devil really thought he had won; Book of Acts with the disciples and just look at the life of Paul (2Cor 11:22-33)

Prayer…

Speak to that mountain of Sabotage. Bind the strongman and  overthrow the enemy’s plans to sabotage our families/ministry.

Excerpt from a teaching by Charles Nieman on
Kings and Priests

Rev 1:5-6
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Rev 5:10
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”

Kings and Priests are together for the good of the Kingdom

We live at 2 levels at once – our personal lives and our corporate church life

In our personal lives we function as both kings and priests – In our Church life we are one or the other

Priests are in full time ministry -their primary responsibility is to provide VISION – to keep the people running in lanes

Everyone else is a king – they provide PROVISION for the vision

Gen. 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

  • God deposited in the human race dominion and rule (right and power to govern and control).
  • The market place is war – Kings “go to war” to be providers for the Kingdom
  • Priests hear the direction and timing of God concerning harvest before others do
  • Kings will hear that direction and timing of God for the harvest coming from the Priest then act on it
  • Vision keeps provision from getting flakey
  • Vision is progressive, always changing
  • When Kings are underdeveloped – Provision is missing
  • Priests start talking more about provision than vision
  • Today’s churches are full of frustrated kings listening to frustrated priests when they have to talk about money all the time
  • They do because provision is lacking
  • When kings are providing there is no lack for the vision of God
  • Kings have to be in relationship with a Priest of God that they trust in order to prosper like God wants them to
If they are not, Kings become flakey (odd, unconventional, off beat, unreliable, absent minded, flighty, fickle)

We are praying that the Priests and Kings would recognize their places and run with it to advance the Kingdom.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Sue DeGroot

Wisdom for the season

We are coming into a new season and as individuals and the Church we need His wisdom.

To everything there is a season… –Ecc 3:1

Isa 33:6 AMPC – And there shall be stability in your times, an abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is your treasure and His.

James 1:5-6a AMPC – If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting)…

Prov 2: 2-4,6,10 AMPC – Making your ear attentive to skillful and godly Wisdom and inclining and directing your heart and mind to understanding [applying all your powers to the quest for it]; Yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, If you seek [Wisdom] as for silver and search for skillful and godly Wisdom as for hidden treasures, For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. For skillful and godly Wisdom shall enter into your heart, and knowledge shall be pleasant to you.

Prov 4: 5-9,11-13 AMPC – Get skillful and godly Wisdom, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation); do not forget and do not turn back from the words of my mouth. Forsake not [Wisdom], and she will keep, defend, and protect you; love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation). [James 1:5.] Prize Wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you; she will bring you to honor when you embrace her. She shall give to your head a wreath of gracefulness; a crown of beauty and glory will she deliver to you. I have taught you in the way of skillful and godly Wisdom [which is comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God]; I have led you in paths of uprightness. When you walk, your steps shall not be hampered [your path will be clear and open]; and when you run, you shall not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; guard her, for she is your life.

Prov 3:5-6 TPT – Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

I kept hearing one line from a secular song ‘Reunited and it feels so good’

We are praying towards our families being ‘Reunited’ whether it is in regards to relationships among one another, being reunited with the Father/Jesus, or our Church family being reunited. We are also to be found faithful in our assignment which is that of the Ministry of Reconciliation.

Noah Webster – REUNITED: United or joined again; reconciled.

Dictionary Definition- verb: come together or cause to come together again after a period of separation or disunity.

Synonyms & Near Synonyms for reunited:

  • reconnected,
  • rejoined,
  • reunified,
  • connected,
  • married,
  • unified,
  • united, assembled, congregated, gathered

Joseph was reunited with his brothers and father.
The prodigal was reunited with his father.
We all through the death, burial & resurrection have been reunited to the Father.
The Father is married to the backslider.

He will go before the Lord as a forerunner, with the same power and anointing as Elijah the prophet. He will be instrumental in turning the hearts of the fathers in tenderness back to their children and the hearts of the disobedient back to the wisdom of their righteous fathers. And he will prepare a united people who are ready for the Lord’s appearing.” Luke 1:17 TPT

He’ll be filled with the Holy Spirit from the moment he leaves his mother’s womb. He will turn many sons and daughters of Israel back to their God. He will herald God’s arrival in the style and strength of Elijah, soften the hearts of parents to children, and kindle devout understanding among hardened skeptics—he’ll get the people ready for God.” Luke 1:‬17 MSG

Psalm 24:1
The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.

Haggai 2:6-8
“For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. 8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts.

Is 50:10-12
“Who among you fears the LORD?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the LORD
And rely upon his God.
11 Look, all you who kindle a fire,
Who encircle yourselves with sparks:
Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks you have kindled—
This you shall have from My hand:
You shall lie down in torment.

  • God owns it all
  • Satan’s lease is about to run out on earth!

Excerpt from Kenneth Copeland Ministries

“Why is it so Important to Meditate on God’s Word?
So many born-again believers miss out on the world-overcoming victory that’s theirs in Christ Jesus. They keep finding themselves “under” the circumstances instead of “on top,” and they can’t figure out why. They’ve never understood a foundational truth about living the successful Christian life. They’ve never understood why it is so important to meditate on, or ponder and contemplate, the Word of God.

Proverbs 4:20-22 says, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” (KJV).

Notice that according to those verses, when you “attend” to God’s words they become “sayings.” The Scriptures start talking to you. The Holy Spirit speaks them to you on the inside so you can not only see but hear the thoughts of God.

If you’ll make the decision to take those thoughts by saying them on purpose over and over again, eventually you’ll catch yourself saying them without having to decide to do it. When that happens, your thinking in that area will have been converted. God’s thoughts will have become your own.

Suddenly, you will see something entirely different than the world sees. While they see drought, you see rivers. While they look at famine, you see feast. While they look at financial collapse, you see the riches of THE BLESSING.

I’m not saying all your circumstances will change overnight. It often takes time for the manifestation of THE BLESSING to become visible in this natural realm. But you can still “see” it—because you don’t really see with your physical eyes. I don’t either. You see with your mind. Your brain collects information and turns it into images in your soul. Then you interpret those images and decide what to do with them.

I have a very good friend who proves that point every day. A Partner with this ministry, he owns a gun store. He does not have sight in his natural eyes. One of his customers told me he bought guns from him for four years without noticing anything unusual about him.

“I’d tell him which gun I wanted and he’d go over to the case and get it with no problem,” he said. “He’d clear it, break it down, whatever he needed to do, and hand it to me. I’d stand there talking to him and looking him right in the face with no idea he was blind.”

Amazing as it seems, the man also trains military personnel. According to his staff, if you’re his enemy and you don’t want him to shoot you, you’d better be real quiet. His ears catch sounds yours don’t. He can hear you breathe from across the room—and if he hears you, he can shoot you.

Can that man see?

Absolutely. He sees with his hands. He sees with his ears. He sees images on the inside of him the same as you and I do. His eyes don’t yet transfer light from his eyes to his brain, but that’s changing. He’s attending to the Word. He’s fixing his spiritual gaze on his miracle-working God.

You and I can do the same thing. Instead of looking at the circumstances around us, we can focus on the Word of God. Instead of meditating on what the world says, we can spend our time meditating on what God says. As we do, the Word will get on the inside of us and begin to change our thoughts, our health and our reality!”

Joshua 1:8 Amp This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.

We are praying that the Body of Christ would take the time (because it does take time) to deposit the Word in their heart and allow IT to speak to them … louder than any other voice.

Prayed…

  • Don’t try and “reinvent the wheel” – just say what He’s saying
  • but in order to do that you have to know what He’s saying
