The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

We are praying towards that Word that will pierce our family members’ hearts, to be saved from this perverse, crooked, wicked generation.

Acts 2:38-40 AMPC
And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, [even] to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself.
40 And [Peter] solemnly and earnestly witnessed (testified) and admonished (exhorted) with much more continuous speaking and warned (reproved, advised, encouraged) them, saying, Be saved from this crooked (perverse, wicked, unjust) generation.

Isaiah 40:4
Every valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made [a]straight
And the rough places smooth;

Deuteronomy 32 -speaks of the characteristics of those in a perverse, crooked generation -foolish, unwise, no faith/counsel/understanding)
*Verse 18-My people perish because of lack of knowledge = they have let it go / forgotten
But those SEEDS that have been sown into them will not remain dormant or barren any longer.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Joanne Summers

1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  • Oh, we magnify the precious name of Jesus this morning. King of kings and Lord of lords. He’s the Great I Am. He’s the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. Ha! Ha! Ha! The same yesterday, today, and forever! The unchanging God! Ha! Ha! This is Your day Father, the day of the Lord. We say, “Days of the manifestation of the goodness of our God. Faithful and True, Just and Righteous is our God.” We declare “Jesus Christ reigns over this Nation—our Lord reigns from sea to sea! Father pour out Your Spirit upon this Nation this morning. Rain down, rain down—saturate the hearts of the people. A fresh wind, an outpouring upon Your Church. Father we pray for open doors for our spiritual leaders to bring godly influence to our government in the ways of righteousness, truth, and justice. Ha! Ha!
  • Open doors for Pastor Ric in every level of government. That He may bring a word that will bring changes to our city, province, and to our Nation. Wisdom and discernment to know what has to be said, and when to say it. He will come with words of knowledge; he will flow in the gifts of the Spirit. They will know he has been sent by God, because when he speaks a thing, it’s a God thing, and it shall come to pass. We join with Pastor Ric and the vision You have shown him for this House. This will be a House without debt.
  • We’re in the overflow! Ha! Ha! The goodness of God is being seen in our midst and those around shall see it. Father, it’s our time, it’s time for J Nest. It’s time for those visions to come to pass. It’s time for the manifestation of those prophetic words You have spoken over this House and I thank You. You are faithful to Your word. The voice of the mockers and the scoffers shall be silenced because You will be seen in our midst. Financial—it will be an exponential thing; beyond anything we have ever imagined. We’re breaking out in the finances. The Master has need of it. We say that property is earmarked for Eagles Nest, we declare it shall be prime real estate. No man shall stop this, no bylaw. For these things will be changed because God has ordered it as He sees fit.
  • Father we ask You for wisdom for our government—from the Prime Minister’s office to city council; the mayors offices, and our judges. Discernment for these days, to make right decisions for the good of the people and the land, we ask this in Jesus’ name. And everyone who resists You Father, resists what is right and good—Father, take them out of that position. Place those in position who have ears to hear and are willing to do what the Spirit of God is telling them to do. Times of fulfillment for Canada! Times of fulfillment for Canada! Fulfillment for our youth! Yes, fulfillment for our youth coming into their place!
  • Father we just call forth our harvest out of the young people—out of every walk of life, we call them forth, in the name of Jesus. We call forth the harvest for Eagles Nest—those ordained for this House and Pastor Ric as their shepherd. They come with an ear to hear and to do. They come with a desire to be planted and to grow. They make covenant with Pastor Ric. Father we ask You for a revival in St. Catharines. A revival in Canada. A revival in the nations of the earth. A revival of Your Word. The harvest hears and they respond because they hear truth. And we know Father God Your truth will set them free. The truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We cover the harvest under the blood of Jesus. We cover our Eagles Nest under the blood of Jesus. We cover our city and our Nation under the blood of Jesus. We thank You for preserving us Father.
  • Father we lift up Israel this morning. Ha! Ha! Blow Holy Spirit, blow across the land. Blow Your breath into those dry bones—bring them to life. Father we say, “There’s a great harvest coming out of Israel as the labourers preach the Word—chains are being broken, religious thinking is being broken, confusion is being removed. Oh, the Word is clear—it’s not confusing. We thank You Father they’re grasping and hanging onto the Word, it’s becoming their anchor. A revival in the land. An awakening in the land. We say, “Every evil plan from the enemy is being exposed this morning.” Whatever they try to hide is being revealed. Ha! Ha! Wisdom and discernment for the government, ordered steps, God plans. Ha! Ha! We declare, “They shall not be overtaken by their enemies for God is with them. Angels on assignment to protect. We thank You Father for the finances being brought in for the “Aliyah”—documents that need to be found are being found. Doors that have seemed closed, Father You’re opening. And every need that those returning Jews have need of, You’re providing according to Your riches in glory. We thank You Father. We thank You Father. Yes, those who are working on this are making the right connections they need. Thank You Lord.

As disciples of Christ we are ALL qualified to go and bear witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. God will use anyone who is willing to obey the call to GO whether we’re a mature believer or a babe in Christ. Mark 16:15 (AMPC) – And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 (MSG) – 27 But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame the high and mighty. 28 He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that he would shame the somebodies. For He chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent, 29 so that there would be no place for prideful boasting in God’s presence.

Jeremiah 1:4-8 (AMPC) – 4 Then the word of the Lord came to me [Jeremiah], saying, 5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am only a youth. 7 But the Lord said to me, Say not, I am only a youth; for you shall go to all to whom I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Be not afraid of them [their faces], for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.

John 4:34-42 (TPT) – 34 Then Jesus spoke up and said, “My food is to be doing the will of Him who sent Me and bring it to completion.” 35 As the crowds emerged from the village, Jesus said to His disciples, “Why would you say, ‘The harvest is another four months away’? Look at all the people coming—now is harvest time! For their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain—ready for a spiritual harvest. 36 And everyone who reaps these souls for eternal life will receive a reward. And those who plant spiritual seeds and those who reap the harvest will celebrate together with great joy! 37 And this confirms the saying, ‘One sows the seed and another reaps the harvest.’ 38 I have sent you out to harvest a field that you haven’t planted, where many others have laboured long and hard before you. And now you are privileged to profit from their labours and reap the harvest.” 39 So there were many from the Samaritan village who became believers in Jesus because of the woman’s testimony: “He told me everything I ever did!” 40 Then they begged Jesus to stay with them, so He stayed there for two days, 41 resulting in many more coming to faith in Him because of His teachings. 42 Then the Samaritans said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what You told us, but now we’ve heard Him ourselves and are convinced that He really is the true Savior of the world!”

Matthew 4:18-20 (TPT) – 18 As He was walking by the shore of Lake Galilee, Jesus noticed two fishermen who were brothers. One was nicknamed Keefa (later called Peter), and the other was Andrew, his brother. Watching as they were casting their nets into the water, 19 Jesus called out to them and said, “Come and follow Me, and I will transform you into men who catch people for God.” 20 Immediately they dropped their nets and left everything behind to follow Jesus.

Matthew 9:37-38 (TPT) – 37 He turned to His disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in. 38 As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to thrust out many more reapers to harvest His grain!”

The love of God in us should compel us to reach out to the unsaved. 1 John 1:18 (TPT) – Beloved children our love can’t be an abstract theory we only talk about, but a way of life demonstrated through our living deeds. We are praying God to stir His love and compassion within us so we will reach out to those that are still lost.

  • Thank You Jesus. Father we’ve heard Your Word. You commanded us to go into all the world and preach the gospel. This is the only thing that will save a man. Holy Spirit we ask You this morning to speak to the hearts of men, women, and children who are yet to be saved. Soften those hearts to receive the Word. Father we ask You to thrust out more labourers into the harvest field. Stir within the labourers an excitement, a burning desire to reach the lost. That the love of God in them will compel them to speak and not to be ashamed of the gospel, it is the power of God unto salvation. Father anoint Your labourers, a fresh infilling—they’re not going out dry, but full of the Spirit. Sensitive—they’re sensitive to the harvest. Like Paul, they shall be all things to all men, yet not deviating from the truth of the Word. The labourers are not afraid of the faces of men. They’re bold in the Spirit. They stand their ground. They’re not moved by the circumstances. They’re not moved by the raging of the people. They’re not moved by the persecution—strength to those who’s knees are weak. They’re finishers! They’re finishers! They obey the Commander and Chief. They’re not growing weary for they shall reap the harvest. And as they go forth Father, we thank You that You’re supplying all their needs. Yes, all their needs: transportation, food, finances, hotels, divine connections. Thank You Father, divine connections. You’re connecting labourer to labourer and connecting them to those in need of salvation. And we thank You for open doors—God doors that no man shall shut. And we thank You for that Father, in Jesus’ name.

  • needed and necessary for worldwide advancement

Excerpt from a prayer from “Plans, Purposes, and Pursuits”
By Kenneth E. Hagin

“…Pastors are so important in the plans and purposes of God, because the sheep must have a shepherd. And there are to be more pastors than any other ministry gift manifested. And they’re so important in this hour. This is a crucial hour—a critical hour—we say a lot of times. But it is a very, very serious hour. And it is an hour for the pastor, the shepherd to be in full potential and manifestation of his office; to be in full manifestation and potential manifestation of his office. Oh, Father God, may pastors be endued with a new spirit. May every one of them be empowered with revelation gifts, a spirit of knowledge, and a spirit of knowing in their lives.

No, pastors will not stand, necessarily, in the office of the prophet. But they will be empowered with a spirit of knowing and especially with a spirit of wisdom, oh, Father God, until those things that have seemed a problem to them will be no more a problem, for they’ll have the answer. They’ll have the answer! And it will just seem that they have been standing on a ledge, so to speak, above the valley; but now they’ll stand on the mountaintop. They’ll stand on the mountaintop. And for some of them, their pulpit will no longer be a prison, but their pulpit will be a throne.

For Satan is a defeated foe. He’ll not win in any situation, but he will lose every single time, for he is a defeated foe. And pastors shall have much cause for rejoicing.

Oh, my, my, my. And may a special unction rest upon those who go to foreign fields, Lord, where the darkness is so dark. May the light shine even more, and may their lives be enhanced with Your glory.

And may every single one of us, whatever area of ministry we may be in, whatever area of life—oh, dear God, may every one of us be willing to pay the price, because there is a cost. Thank God, Jesus paid the price for our redemption and salvation. But there is a price to be paid when it comes to obeying You and fulfilling the ministry that You called us to do. And sometimes, it means that we do not—that we even have to deny the flesh of legitimate pleasures and things that are all right, but we just have to spend that extra time, that extra time with You.

Oh, Father God, may not a single one of us forget this night or forget this day, but may every single one of us—from our very innermost being, say, “Lord, I’ll pay the price no matter what others may do. I’ll do Your work, Your will. Your plan shall be consummated in my life. Your will for my life and ministry shall be perfected. In the Name of Jesus.”

Eph 1:15-23, 3:14-21
For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers; 17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. 18 And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), 19 and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength 20 which He produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion [whether angelic or human], and [far above] every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and world but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things [in every realm] in subjection under Christ’s feet, and appointed Him as [supreme and authoritative] head over all things in the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills and completes all things in all [believers].

Phil 1:8-11
For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus [whose great love fills me]. 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, 10 so that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin]; 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized].

Col 1:9-14
For this reason, since the day we heard about it, we have not stopped praying for you, asking [specifically] that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [with insight into His purposes], and in understanding [of spiritual things], 10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to [fully] please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts]; 11 [we pray that you may be] strengthened and invigorated with all power, according to His glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light.
13 For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption [because of His sacrifice, resulting in] the forgiveness of our sins [and the cancellation of sins’ penalty].

1 Thess 5:23-24
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own].

2 Thess 1:11-12
With this in view, we constantly pray for you, that our God will count you worthy of your calling [to faith] and with [His] power fulfill every desire for goodness, and complete [your] every work of faith, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you [by what you do], and you in Him, according to the [precious] grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Prayed for Pastor Ric.

1 Tim 2:1-4

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Guide their decisions. Surround them with godly people who will impart wisdom and wise counsel. Let Your light shine, open their path and show them paths of reversal for every evil way. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing in this nation. And deliver this nation from the traps and snares the enemy has laid and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame we pray in Jesus’ name. Oh, Father we stand for Your plan for those in authority. For we know Your plan is good. Ha, ha, ha!
  • Oh God we believe You for a turn around. Hallelujah! A turn around! Right choices, we believe You for right choices. We pray for Your men, Your women in office. Ha, ha, ha! Oh, the blood prevails. The blood prevails. Oh, we lift the standard of the blood to reconcile. Ha, ha, ha!
  • Father we lift the harvest. And we declare ‘the blood prevails over the harvest of this nation, and the harvest of the world.” We believe in the power of the blood for the labourers of the harvest – overcoming all obstacles to see the kingdom of God advance. And we thank You for it.
  • We trust that blind eyes shall see, and deaf ears will hear. Ha, ha, ha! Father we trust You for miraculous turn arounds. Mighty salvations – the glory of the Lord being revealed in the Person Jesus Christ. Ha, ha, ha! Victories! Victories! Salvations, wonderful salvations being revealed. Thank You Lord.

We trust You because Your Word says all Israel shall be saved.
  • We lift our trip to Africa in the going and the returning. We thank You Father God for Your divine provision. Lord You said to visit the prisoner and Father You have opened nine prison doors for this. Father we thank You for opening doors for church leaders in Nairobi. You’ve opened a door to do church ministry. And you have opened with Jeannie and those in the compound. You have opened the door for Bible School, and that Word being taught will go forth in the desolate places and cause waters to burst forth of knowledge and truth to set prisoners free. We thank You for divine supply for every area that pertains to godliness.
  • Lord we ask for Your wisdom in these matters. We thank You for the all sufficient grace. We are sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. Ha, ha, ha! Oh, glory to God! Glory to God! Hallelujah, hallelujah! Ha, ha, ha! Thank You Father! Thank You Father! Blessed be Your holy name! Blessed be Your holy name! Thank You Jesus, thank You Lord. Ha, ha, ha!
  • Father we hold up the arms of the persecuted church. Father God I thank You for the Spirit of glory that rests upon them. Father we pray protection, angels on assignment. We trust You to supply everything they and their families have need of. I thank You Father Your compassions will not fail them. Ha, ha, ha! Thank You Lord. Thank You for Your mercies. We just give You thanksgiving and praise. Victory, victory, victory!

Is 35: 1-2, 6c, 8
The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,
And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
2 It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice,
Even with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
The excellence of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the glory of the LORD,
The excellency of our God.
6c For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.
8 A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray.

Deut 11:10-11
For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden; 11 but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,

Lev 26: 3-7,14
‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing;
you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid;
I will rid the land of evil beasts,
and the sword will not go through your land.
7 You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you.
14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments,
We are praying for the ultimate, visible manifestation of the glory of God. We are asking for the rains of the Spirit, for without the rains we won’t see the harvest. We need the Holy Spirit.

  • Father we stand today on behalf of the prophetic promise of revival that is upon us. We want to see Your will and Your ways exalted. We want to see people saved. We want to see hearts open up. We thank You for all that you have promised.
  • We ask for those rains of the Spirit. We ask for the manifestation of Your Spirit to pour out over our land. You promised therefore we expect to see visible manifestations of the glory of God – the excellency, splendor and majesty – as You reveal Yourself to a broken people who will be healed, anointed and raised up to witness You.
  • Lord we expect them to come hungry and thirsty, to be assembled, to offer up their supply, and they are coming to learn. We are so thankful for the Holy Spirit – Your wisdom, understanding, counsel and might.
  • We are learning the fear of the Lord and we are so thankful. We pray towards this mighty, monumental outpouring that will affect not only the church but this land and this city.
  • Ha, ha, ha! I thank You Father You are healing the broken hearted and joy unspeakable is bursting forth out of their innermost being. Praise God, praise God. Amen.

Holy Ghost Round UP
Collect, gather, bring in, drive in
In order to round up you have to go after and find

Luke 15:4-7 TPT
4–5 “There once was a shepherd with a hundred lambs, but one of his lambs wandered away and was lost. So the shepherd left the ninety-nine lambs out in the open field and searched in the wilderness for that one lost lamb. He didn’t stop until he finally found it. With exuberant joy he raised it up and placed it on his shoulders,[a] carrying it back with cheerful delight! 6 Returning home, he called all his friends and neighbors together and said, ‘Let’s have a party! Come and celebrate with me the return of my lost lamb. It wandered away, but I found it and brought it home.’”
7 Jesus continued, “In the same way, there will be a glorious celebration in heaven over the rescue of one lost sinner who repents, comes back home, and returns to the fold—more so than for all the righteous people who never strayed away.”

Luke 15:4-7 AMPC
What man of you, if he has a hundred sheep and should lose one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness (desert) and go after the one that is lost until he finds it?
5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his [own] shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he gets home, he summons together [his] friends and [his] neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep which was lost.
7 Thus, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one [especially] wicked person who repents (changes his mind, abhorring his errors and misdeeds, and determines to enter upon a better course of life) than over ninety-nine righteous persons who have no need of repentance.

There is a Holy Ghost round up in the families of Eagles Nest. Those who are lost or wandering are returning to the Lord.

Excerpt from –
Opportunity For Change in America
September 27, 2016
by Lynne Hammond

“The winds of change are blowing right now. Every day, if you watch the news, you can see it with your eyes. You can hear it with your ears. In places all around the world, governments and cultures are being shaken. Instability is increasing.
From Europe, where Great Britain’s break with the European Union and the rising tide of terrorism are overturning the status quo, to other regions across the globe too numerous to mention, economies are quaking. Things are being displaced. Old seasons are giving way to new.
It’s happening here in the United States with the upheaval in this election. Never in our lifetime have we witnessed such political turmoil in this nation. Never have we seen anything like this. Clearly, the DOOR has been opened for change in America.

It’s not just a DOOR of political change, either. It’s a DOOR of supernatural change. Spiritually, morally, economically, militarily, the United States is on the verge of a season of great restoration. I see it with the eyes of my heart as clearly as can be—

God is opening up before us a majestic new DOOR!

I first learned about spiritual DOORS from a man named Philip E. Halverson. He mentored my husband and me in prayer many years ago. Some of his favorite verses were those in John 10 where Jesus said, “He who enters by the DOOR is the shepherd of the sheep. The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it…I am the DOOR; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live)” (vv. 1–3, 9)
Brother Halverson taught us that while Jesus is the DOOR of the sheepfold, the watchman who opens the DOOR is the Holy Ghost. He taught us that’s why praying in the Spirit is so vital. Praying in tongues opens DOORS to the supernatural. It opens gateways in the realm of the spirit!
I saw a wonderful example of this when I was in Grodno, Belarus, a number of years ago on a missions trip. I’d gone there with a team from our church because the Lord had given my husband an outline about how to win a city for God and that’s where we’d been led to implement it. One evening before one of our evangelistic services, a group of us were praying and the Lord spoke to us through a word of prophecy. “I’m going to show you tonight why you’re here in Grodno,” He said.
By the time we finished praying I’d forgotten about that word, but as we were coming down the stairs to go to the service I heard a woman begin to scream. The moment I saw her I sensed the fire of God connecting us. Although she was speaking Russian and I was speaking English, I hurried toward her, grabbed her hands and, through an interpreter, her story unfolded.

She said that several years earlier, she’d moved away from her family and Pentecostal heritage to live in Grodno with her husband. When she arrived, she’d found it to be the deadest place spiritually she’d ever seen. Desperate to see a change there, she cried out in prayer. “You have to send help from heaven, Lord! You have to send laborers to this city!” For a while, nothing seemed to happen so she cried out all the more, “God, where are You?” “I want you to keep praying,” He answered.

For two years she prayed and prayed for that city. Then, six months before we were to arrive, she began seeing in visions some of the faces of believers who would come to help. The night she saw our prayer group coming down the stairs, she recognized our faces as some of those the Lord had shown her. That’s why she was screaming. She knew her prayers had been answered.

A spiritual DOOR had been opened and her city was about to change!

In the New Testament, you can see this pattern repeated time and again. You can see that sometimes spiritual DOORS are opened and sometimes they’re closed. Acts 16:6 says, for instance, that when Paul and Silas first set out on their missionary journey they were “forbidden by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Word in [the province of] Asia.” DOOR closed! They couldn’t go.

The same problem cropped when they tried to preach in Bithynia. “The Spirit of Jesus did not permit them” (v. 7). In other words there, too, the door was closed. Happily, in Troas and Philippi, “a door of opportunity was opened…by the Lord” (2 Cor. 2:12). So Paul and Silas went to those cities, preached, and saw wonderful results.
Later, Acts 19 says that in Asia the door that was formerly closed cracked open a little. Paul was able to slip in there and in Ephesus—a Devil-worshiping city where witchcraft ran rampant—he found a little group of 12 believers. Paul began ministering to them and, little by little, that first little crack got wider. Miracles began to be poured out. The Gospel was confirmed with so many astonishing signs and wonders “that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus” (v. 10).

Wow! DOOR open!

In 1 Corinthians 16:8, Paul called this “an effectual DOOR. Effectual is an energy word. It speaks of God’s mighty supernatural power. In Ephesus that power swung the DOOR to the supernatural open so wide that eventually, not only did all of Asia open up to the Gospel, multitudes in that once-demonized place threw their witchcraft paraphernalia into piles and burned it all up.

…As believers, we’re not just sweet little sheep following our Good Shepherd, we’re the spiritual army of God on earth. We have the authority to enforce the Word of the Lord over our nation. We have the power to yield to the Watchman, pray in other tongues, and petition almighty God…”

We are praying that we will be prepared for all the DOORS the Lord is opening in 2020.

Prayer Summary for December 12, 2019

The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Joanne Summers

1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  • Thank You Lord. Oh, Thank You Lord. We thank You Lord. We thank You Lord. Ha! Ha! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful Father.
  • Precious Lord we honour You this morning. We declare that You are God and there is no other! We thank You for Your presence Holy Spirit. Ha! Ha! Honour and glory belong to our God. These are the days of Your glory. Your glory shall be seen as the waters cover the sea. To God be the glory. To God be the glory forever and ever.
  • Father we lift up the nation of Canada this morning. We just ask You Father God to pour out Your Spirit upon our land and upon the people—that there would be an awakening Father God. An awakening unto righteousness and awakening unto the truth that Jesus Christ is Lord—He is God and there is no other. Ha! Ha!
  • Church awaken! Church awaken! You have been commissioned to go forth; to bear fruit; to minister the Word; to make disciples. Awaken and go forth, in the name of Jesus. Father pour out Your Spirit upon Church. Stir within us a love and compassion for the lost—for the dying. We can’t do this without Your help. Ha! Ha! Labourers labouring in the field doing the will of the Father—doing the work of the ministry.
  • Father we pray for the civil and spiritual authorities in this land. We thank you for the connecting—pastors, spiritual leaders, connecting with those in governmental authority in this land. Father grant unto them Your wisdom and Your discernment as they each fulfill their call. We cover them under the blood of Jesus. According to 1 Timothy 2:1-4 You said to pray for those in authority, so we lift them up to You this morning. Our Prime Minister, his cabinet; the federal, provincial, and municipal government; our mayors; city councils. Father we lift up our judges; we lift up the supreme court. Father let the fear of the Lord be upon these men and women. Father protect our armed forces; our police forces; and our border guards—order their steps today Father, preserve their lives. We call forth our harvest from amongst these that we have named. We call them forth, in the name of Jesus.
  • We call forth our harvest out of families; out of cities; out of the provinces; out of the nation of Canada; and the nations of the earth. We say, “Come out from among them and be separate. They’re marked for the kingdom, they have sensitive ears to the voice of Your Spirit. They receive truth that will set them free today—the truth of the Word of God. Ha! Ha! They’re going to come to realize that Jesus Christ has died for them, that they may have life, and life more abundant. Great shall be their joy and rejoicing as they come.
We lift up Israel and we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We ask for wisdom for the government; wisdom for the military forces Lord God. Order their steps according to Your will and Your plan. Oh thank You Lord, the dry bones are coming to life as the Word of God runs swiftly throughout the land. There’s an awakening unto righteousness. Strengthen the labourers Father God. Meet their needs Father according to Your riches in glory. Give them courage and strength to go forth. Open doors so that they can bring the good news. Thank You Father. Thank You Father. Thank You Father.

And the People Brought Their Supply & Artisans for Building the Tabernacle

1 Chronicles 29:1, 5–20 (NIRV) read full passage – 1 Then King David spoke to the whole community. He said, “God has chosen my son Solomon. But Solomon is young. He’s never done anything like this before. The task is huge. This grand and wonderful temple won’t be built for human beings. It will be built for the Lord God…..5 Use it for the gold work and the silver work. Use it for everything the skilled workers will do. How many of you are willing to set yourselves apart to the Lord today?” 6 Many people were willing to give. They included the leaders of families and the officers of the tribes of Israel. They included the commanders of thousands of men and commanders of hundreds. They also included the officials who were in charge of the king’s work. 7 All of them gave to the work on God’s temple. They gave more than 190 tons of gold and 380 tons of silver. They also gave 675 tons of bronze and 3,800 tons of iron. 8 Anyone who had valuable jewels added them to the treasure for the Lord’s temple. Jehiel was in charge of the temple treasure. He was from the family line of Gershon. 9 The people were happy when they saw what their leaders had been willing to give. The leaders had given freely. With their whole heart they had given everything to the Lord. King David was filled with joy.
10 David praised the Lord in front of the whole community. He said, “Lord, we give You praise. You are the God of our father Israel. We give You praise for ever and ever. 11 Lord, You are great and powerful. Glory, majesty and beauty belong to You. Everything in heaven and on earth belongs to You. Lord, the kingdom belongs to You. You are honoured as the One who rules over all. 12 Wealth and honour come from You. You are the ruler of all things. In Your hands are strength and power. You can give honour and strength to everyone. 13 Our God, we give You thanks. We praise Your glorious name.
14 “But who am I? And who are my people? Without Your help we wouldn’t be able to give this much. Everything comes from You. We’ve given back to You only what comes from You. 15 We are outsiders and strangers in Your sight. So were all of our people who lived long ago. Our days on this earth are like a shadow. We don’t have any hope. 16 Lord our God, we’ve given more than enough. We’ve provided it to build You a temple where You will put Your holy Name. But all of it comes from You. All of it belongs to You. 17 My God, I know that You tested our hearts. And You are pleased when we are honest. I’ve given all these things just because I wanted to. When I did it, I was completely honest with You. Your people here have also been willing to give to You. And I’ve been happy to see this. 18 Lord, You are the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel. Keep these desires and thoughts in the hearts of Your people forever. Keep their hearts faithful to You. 19 Help my son Solomon serve You with all his heart. Then he will keep Your commands and rules. He will do what You require. He’ll do everything to build the grand and wonderful temple I’ve provided for.” 20 Then David said to the whole community, “Praise the Lord our God.” So all of them praised the Lord. He’s the God of their people who lived long ago. The whole community bowed low. They fell down flat with their faces toward the ground. They did it in front of the Lord and the king.

Exodus 31:1-11(NKJV) – 1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4 to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, 5 in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.
6 “And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you: 7 the tabernacle of meeting, the ark of the Testimony and the mercy seat that is on it, and all the furniture of the tabernacle—8 the table and its utensils, the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, the altar of incense, 9 the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the laver and its base—10 the garments of ministry, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests, 11 and the anointing oil and sweet incense for the holy place. According to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”

Exodus 35:21 (AMPC) – And they came, each one whose heart stirred him up and whose spirit made him willing, and brought the Lord’s offering to be used for the [new] Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and the holy garments.

Exodus 36:7 (AMPC) – 5 And they said to Moses, The people bring much more than enough for doing the work which the Lord commanded to do. 6 So Moses commanded and it was proclaimed in all the camp, Let no man or woman do anything more for the sanctuary offering. So the people were restrained from bringing. 7 For the stuff they had was sufficient to do all the work and more.

We are praying for the finances to come into the hands of Eagles Nest members so that we can bring our individual supply to meet the needs of the House (for the land, buildings, supplies etc.) so we can fulfill the vision God has placed in Pastor Ric heart for this House; also for every person God has chosen to be part of the building of His House. Our greatest desire is that God’s will and purposes be done—Matthew 6:33 (AMPC) – But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. Proverbs 3:9-10 (TPT) – 9 Glorify God with all your wealth, honouring Him with your very best, with every increase that comes to you. 10 Then every dimension of Your life will overflow with blessings from an uncontainable source of inner joy! Proverbs 13:22b (AMPC) – ….the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteousness, for whom it was laid up.

  • Father we lift up Eagles Nest. Ha! Ha! Ha! These are the days of overflow. These are the days when we shall see the goodness of the Lord. Oh, we praise the name of the Lord our God! We praise the name of the Lord our God! Your goodness is following us. We acknowledge You as the One who can do all things. Father, none of this is by our own hands. We recognize it comes from You. Father, that each of us here at Eagles Nest would examine our heart that our motives and desires are right before You. We are here to do kingdom business. Father, to see Your will done on earth as it is in heaven. Father we call in the finances. We shall be as those who dreamed when we see it come in. We’re going to laugh! We’re going to shout! We’re going to bear witness and testify to all those around. We’re going to say, “Look what God is doing!” You’re blessing us so we can be a blessing. We are blessed so that we can meet the needs for the land, buildings, and supplies. We’re going to give freely and with great joy as we see the House of God built. As we see the vision You’ve given to Pastor Ric come to pass. We thank You for the opportunity. Father order Pastor’s steps. Give him ears to hear regarding the land, about who he is to speak with. Fill his mouth with the words necessary when that connection is made.
  • We call in all the labourers, all the skilled labourers necessary for the building of this House, for the things needed to be put inside the House. Anointed labourers. Ha! Ha! A place big enough to accommodate the sons and daughters coming in—Pastor’s spiritual children. Ha! Ha! Ha! They won’t say, “This place isn’t big enough!” No lack! No lack! There is no financial lack for any member of this Church. An overflow, too much, over the top! Has! Ha! Ha! We go to Pastor Ric and say, “What do you need for the House Pastor, we can meet that need!” Ha! Ha! And the voice of the mockers and the scoffers shall be silenced for they shall see God in our midst—to the glory of God! We are blessed so that we can bless—to the glory of God! Oh, we thank You Father. We cover Pastor Ric, Deborah and the leadership under the blood of Jesus. We say, “No weapon formed against them shall proper!” Divine health from the top of their heads to the souls of their feet. Every need met—they’re walking in the overflow. We cover their minds with the blood. We say, “There’s no fear, no fear!” We would say unto Pastor Ric, “Be of good courage! Be of good courage for Your God goes before you and He is making the way! In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your steps. Thank You Father. Thank You Lord.

The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

Word Given By Bishop Tony Miller
November 23, 2003

Pastor Ric and Deborah
I just hear the Lord saying this, that there is a strong breaker anointing that’s going to rest on your life to break open a whole territory and a whole region and you … that radical Spirit will be upon both of you and you will function at a dimension that has not been seen, in fact many of your peers will think that you have gone crazy. Because radical faith … radical passion and radical strategies are going to come into your spirit and you will not be cut out of the patterns of another, but you will cut out a new pattern for the Lord says that you will not xerox another man’s vision, but you will move in the vision that I put within you. For you will find this region will become a pattern region … that shall be a pattern that shall be burnt in this place, that shall go to other regions across this nation and throughout the world and I am going to prophesy to you that the day will come when there will be nations … these flags will not hang here in anticipation of connections, but there will be days when nations will come here and people from here will go to the nations. There will be a coming and a going. There will be people that will even come and sit in the house from other nations and they will be assigned here for a year at a time. And they will sit here under the anointing of this house and they will be taught and trained. The Lord says the world vision and the local vision shall flow together. There shall not be a difference in the anointing that is on you when you are there or when you are here for you shall walk under that same anointing and power all the time. For God says, I’m setting you in a new place, I’m setting you in a new place … you will break open the heavens … and you will break down the walls of tradition and will move the mountains that have resisted and you will see … the mighty hand of God revealed. Just as Moses led the people out I declare to you this day, you shall lead them out … the bondage of Pharaoh shall be left behind. There shall be a new day, declares the Lord. The days of making bricks with straw are over. The days of going through the motion are over, for the Lord says I’m changing the scenery in your life. You are going to see the dawn of a new day.
The Lord spoke to Deborah and said regarding Eagles Nest, 2020 will be a marvelous year and there will be a distinguishing upon us. We say, “Distinguish us Lord according to Your loving kindness.”
