The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Terry Nyenhuis
1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.” 4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. 5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7 Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
We prayed towards this excerpt from Dr. Barclays prophecy in 2005:
…“I see a non Spirit filled church, I don’t know, if don’t know if splitting is the right word, falling apart is more like what I see. You’re going to get over half of them are going to come and say, ‘we’re hungry for God, lay a hand on us, get us filled with the Holy Ghost’. Some of them are going to say, ‘we haven’t even heard about this Holy Ghost thing.’ And you’re going to raise them up as your army the Lord says.” … as prophesied by Dr. Mark Barclay in 2005.
Proverbs 12:25 AMPC
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but an encouraging word makes it glad.
Proverbs 12:25 KJV
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
Heaviness: anxiety, care,
fear, sorrow, dread
ascribed to the sea as agitated
Jer 49:23 AMPC
Concerning and against Damascus [in Syria]: Hamath and Arpad are confounded and put to shame, for they have heard bad news; they are fainthearted and wasting away; there is trouble and anxiety [like] on a [storm-tossed] sea which cannot rest.
In the heart: inner man, mind, will, (emotions) knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory. Inclination, resolution, determination, conscience
-as the seat of appetites, emotions and passions, and courage.
Makes it stoop: to depress, prostrate, now down, crouch, fall down flat, to sink down, do reverence, worship, prostrate in homage to royalty or God.
• *This stance should be reserved for worshipping God alone – not anxiety
1 Peter 5:6-10 AMPC
Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,
7 Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
8 Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
9 Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.
10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.
Acts 3:19 AMPC
So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord;
Anxiety, care, worry, fear, fretting and dread are all sin. It takes faith not to yield to them. We are going to need to use our faith in this area like never before. This is what we prayed towards this morning.
